The Role

Deal Advisory Tax provides market leading services to both Corporate and Financial investors.  Whilst we have teams focused on clients in four key markets Corporates; Private Equity & Credit; Real Estate and Energy & Infrastructure, we are a national and connected team, working and learning with each other.

• Corporates:  We work alongside some of the most forward-thinking FTSE 100 and 250 businesses, as well as Corporates across the UK, supporting them with strategic acquisitions, carve outs, de-mergers, disposals, and joint ventures both in the UK and cross-border. Our corporates business is a multi-sector business, including Consumer, Life sciences, TMT, Industrials, ENR and Banking & Insurance. 
• Asset Management:  We work with Private Equity, Infrastructure, Renewable/ Energy transition, and Real Estate Funds, both large and mid-cap, as well as institutional investors such as Sovereign Wealth Funds and Pension Funds.  Our clients have UK, European and Global investment strategies and will often have teams across multiple asset classes which allows our people to experience different types of transactions.

The Deal Advisory Tax team provides advisory services across the whole deal spectrum including buy-side due diligence and structuring, sell-side vendor

We have a fantastic opportunity for Senior Managers to join our Transactions Assurance team and work with companies on the audit and assurance requirements of both UK and US initial public offerings, and with a wide variety of project based assurance and accounting topics, including carve out transactions, acquisitions and opening balance sheet audits and complex private equity transactions.

At KPMG, we support clients on their AI transformation journeys to drive profitability while mitigating reputational, operational, and financial risks. Our specialized Data & AI team leverages advanced analytical techniques and industrial-scale AI platforms to accelerate this transformation. Our projects span industries such as Financial Services, Retail, Public Sector, Healthcare, Energy, and Utilities, with a focus on extracting data insights, building AI models, and delivering value through engaging, data-driven stories.

Responsibilities/ Attributes

• You will be in a client facing role, engaging with C-suite and senior executives to set the vision and then in the delivery and operationalisation of data architecture and technology platforms.
• Translate complex data concepts into compelling, actionable advice for stakeholders.
• A visible practice leader, shaping thought leadership, owning and refining propositions for relevance, and driving go-to-market activities.
• Lead the design and implementation of modern data platforms and architectures, including data Lakehouse, data engineering and advanced analytics ecosystems enabling scale implementation and adoption of Artificial Intelligence (ML, GenAI and Agentic).
• Develop and own end-to-end solution implementations using technologies such as Collibra, Informatica, Databricks, Quantexa, and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring scalability and impact. 
• Build, mentor, and inspire multi-disciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation across onshore, nearshore and offshore locations.
