We are looking for a Assistant Manager with a Project Finance background to support the fast-growing Power & Utilities Projects team. 

The team specialises in advising clients on the delivery of large water and energy infrastructure projects including new nuclear plants, onshore and offshore electricity networks, interconnectors, reservoirs and other major assets. The Projects business is focussed on designing new markets and advising on in-house and competitive delivery models for major infrastructure projects and programmes.  We advise on all aspects of an asset’s delivery, including commercial arrangements, financing structures, regulatory strategy and engagement, and procurement processes – both for individual assets and new delivery programmes.

KPMG’s Corporates Indirect Tax group focusses on the large corporates market, is a well-established group of around 30 dedicated indirect tax specialists who help UK and international headed groups address all of their indirect tax advisory needs. We are seeking a talented Senior Manager with experience leading large client Organisational Transformation programmes. Typically, these programmes would cover at least one of the following areas: Workforce Transformation (inc. AI), Organisation Design, Change Management, HR Transformation, Digital Transformation, Learning and Development. Our work is incredibly varied, but would typically cover:

• Leading complex people centric projects and transformation workstreams with a team of consultants, to drive business change, integrating across large multi-disciplinary programme teams and providing leadership on the people side of the solution/ implementation.
• Providing specialist advice and working closely with client leads and team members to successfully deliver project outcomes
• Contributing to business development and sales, working with account teams to scope opportunities and developing compelling proposals to win new clients
• Contributing to the development of methods, tools and thought leadership
• Build and shape relationships with clients on a daily basis
• Action as a career coach for their team members, helping them to develop and progress their careers

The role will be subject to MOD and UK Govt public sector governance and controls.  Therefore, you will either already hold Security Clearance, or be able to obtain clearance when you join us.
