The Power & Utilities (P&U) team is the largest within IAG, serving major UK and European utility companies. It delivers expert advice in areas such as project finance, regulatory policy, business planning, and corporate financial management—helping clients attract investment, optimise regulatory outcomes, and create value for customers and shareholders.

We are looking for a candidate with a Project Finance background to support the fast-growing P&U Projects team.

Our clients, include companies, developers, bidders and regulators. Some of our projects include Hydrogen Transport Business Model, Hinkley Point C, potential investor in Sizewell C, Thames Tideway Tunnel (TTT), multiple Direct Procurement for Customers (DPC) and Special Infrastructure Projects Regime (SIPR) projects, Offshore Transmission Owners (OFTO), Cap and Floor Interconnectors, Competitively Appointed Transmission Owners (CATOs), new nuclear projects (NNPs) and Small Modular Reactors (SMRs). Our clients are typically based in the UK and across Europe.

KPMG’s Infrastructure Group in the UK consists of over 400 professionals and is widely recognised as one of the world’s leading independent financial and business advisers in infrastructure.
We provide in-depth advice on the strategic, financial, regulatory and commercial issues driving investments in infrastructure across Transport, Power & Utilities, and Social Infrastructure in the UK and internationally. Our work includes market and policy design, economic analysis, deal structuring and execution, as well as strategic and transaction advice to enable private and public capital to fund infrastructure. This role is for an innovative professional at Assistant Manager level, who can work alongside our existing team to use their lived experience of planning, scheduling and project controls in construction to solve complex problems. Assistant Managers in our team are client-facing and right at the forefront of delivery. This role requires previous experience ideally gained from infrastructure-related projects and programmes, but we’ll happily consider candidates with experience in other relevant fields.

As part of a team of consultants on the ground, you’ll be applying your subject matter expertise and experience every day, bringing to life tailored solutions for our clients whilst managing important relationships.

The MPA team in the UK are based in London, Birmingham and Manchester. This role will be based in one of these locations but will require travel to client locations throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.
