This role is for an innovative professional at Assistant Manager level, who can work alongside our existing team to use their lived experience of planning, scheduling and project controls in construction to solve complex problems. We are seeking a talented Senior Manager with experience leading large client Organisational Transformation programmes. Typically, these programmes would cover at least one of the following areas: Workforce Transformation (inc. This exciting role is within our London region Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance team, based in our Canary Wharf  office.  We work as a region which comprises 5 other offices. 

 

The successful candidate will be able to build strong relationships, develop junior staff, provide excellent client service and identify business development opportunities.

 

  • Be market facing with allocated clients and target organisations.
  • Liaising with the client service team and with colleagues in other tax disciplines as well as the audit and accounting discipline to provide a co-ordinated service to the client.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and identifying leads for new work 
  • Ensuring that clients are kept up to date on developments within the corporate tax world that may affect their businesses.

What will you need to do it?

 

  • Qualified (ACA/ACCA or CTA or equivalent).
  • Strong educational background (preferably 2:1 or higher University degree)
  • Sound knowledge of UK corporate taxation.
  • Sound knowledge of accountancy principles, in particular accounting for tax (including deferred taxation and accounts disclosures).

This is an exciting opportunity in a new role within the System of Quality Management (SoQM) Technical team within the newly established SoQM Centre of Excellence during a period of significant change for the SoQM. 

QC1000 is a new quality control standard from the PCAOB to be implemented by 15 December 2025.  While the assessment of the incremental requirements of QC1000 and the differences from the current UK / International Standard ISQM1 are being led globally, further detailed assessment of the differences and implementation of additional changes will be required at the UK level and are not only likely to result in the implementation of new or amended controls, but also in system and/or operational changes.

Feedback from our regulator, the FRC, and requirements of QC1000 have prompted the firm to consider the acceptable timeframe for completion of SoQM activities, and what processes and support are in place to ensure Process and Control Owners meet those expectations. 

The SoQM Technical team provides technical support to the business by performing the iterative risk assessment process alongside stakeholders, ensuring controls have been appropriately designed to address the risks, providing SoQM training and guidance to the business and responding to regulator requests.

The Role:
As a Senior ServiceNow Solution Architect you will be responsible for leading delivery of ServiceNow based solutions across multiple client projects.   • Experience of agile and traditional software and project methodologies

Preferred experience:

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Certified in ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4)
  • Experience of leading offshore development teams and working with engagement leads, project managers and business analysts to deliver enterprise wide ServiceNow solutions
