Why Join KPMG as a Talent Acquisition Consultant
KPMG are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant (TAC) to join our in-house talent acquisition team. This is a challenging and fast paced role where you will be required to deliver a high-quality talent acquisition service to a diverse range of senior stakeholders who operate across our Audit, Tax and Legal, Advisory and Business Services capabilities.
Responsible for delivering external senior manager and internal hire recruitment activity to our business, you will use your existing recruitment expertise to advise stakeholders on the best approach to handling their hiring needs whilst ensuring that an excellent candidate experience is provided.
With the aim of directly sourcing most hires, you will utilise various direct sourcing approaches to engage and attract diverse talent to KPMG. Acting as a brand ambassador, you will ensure that KPMG continues to attract great talent and remains an employer of choice.
Working with the wider talent acquisition team you will continually seek to improve processes and identify where different tools and technology (such as Gen AI) can be deployed to enhance the hiring experience.
This is a great opportunity for a passionate TAC to join a forward-thinking talent acquisition team within a role that combines recruitment delivery and project responsibilities.
What will you be doing?
- The end-to-end recruitment activity of external senior manager and internal vacancies.
- Conducting role briefings with hiring managers, identifying and approaching passive candidates using LinkedIn and other relevant tools, screening and shortlisting applicants, negotiating offers and issuing contracts.
- Utilising our applicant tracking system and Mi to effectively manage candidates through the recruitment process.
- Managing stakeholder expectations and at times holding challenging conversations, to deliver a positive recruitment experience to all parties.
- Ensuring that all talent acquisition processes and policies are adhered, in order to meet all internal and external audit requirements.
- Adopting a proactive approach to filling vacancies directly through the building and utilisation of talent pools and the utilisation of LinkedIn/other sourcing tools to approach passive candidates.
- Utilising employer brand digital assets to pro-actively promote and advertise vacancies.
- Liaising with internal interview scheduling and on-boarding teams.
- Effectively building relationships with third party suppliers such as recruitment agencies.
- Collaborating with talent acquisition colleagues and other teams on projects.
What will you need to do it?
- Significant experience of full life cycle/360 permanent recruitment, ideally gained from within an in-house or an RPO environment.
- Experience of utilising various candidate sourcing tools (i.e., job boards, LinkedIn) to talent pool and directly fill vacancies.
- In-depth understanding of candidate attraction through digital marketing and social media campaigns.
- Excellent communication skills – fluent English language skills both written and verbal with the ability to effectively advise and challenge senior stakeholders on recruitment strategy.
- Confident user of MS Excel to analyse and interpret recruitment MI.
- A proactive approach to recruitment – able to respond to stakeholder and candidate queries in a prompt and timely manner with the ability to spot issues before they arise.
- Excellent organisational skills – able to manage detailed administrative activities to a high standard to comply with firms internal and external audit requirements.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills which will allow you to build long standing relationships and effectively prioritise requests.
- A passion for delivering a high-quality customer service to stakeholders and candidates.
