The Deal Execution team is part of KPMG’s rapidly expanding Strategy Group, which delivers value for clients by challenging conventional thinking, bringing deep industry and functional insights and executing with investor-grade rigour.  We are a diverse team of over 105 practitioners, working collaboratively with and orchestrating KPMG’s broad set of capabilities within our Advisory business, and are focused on continually enhancing value for clients across the deal and economic cycle. The People in M&A Centre of Excellence deals with all aspects of the employee journey in M&A, as well as leveraging our experience to enact transformational change outside of a deal context. From early-stage strategy development and organisational design for carve-outs, to synergy cases and cost benefits, employee experience and corporate culture, employee transfer, through to the conception, development and management of effective transformational solutions to help an organisation achieve its ambitions and objectives. Indirect Tax - VAT

KPMG has one of the leading Indirect Tax practices in the UK. Our 21 Partners and approximately 200 professionals provide advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Environmental Taxes) to a broad range of business sectors including large multi-nationals, household name retailers and public sector organisations.
Within the National Markets Indirect Tax team we have specialists in sectors such as Retail, Supply Chain and International Trade, FS, Public Sector, Leisure and Travel. The majority of the team specialise in VAT but we also have Trade and Customs and Environmental Tax specialists within the team. Our clients range from large organisations and corporates through to smaller fast growing businesses. The team deliver value and support our portfolio of clients.

The Powered Apps teams are communities of business and technology focussed professionals who work together to deliver KPMG Powered Enterprise through a standardised delivery model. The teams use their functional knowledge and experience (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement), technology expertise (S/4HANA, CFin, RISE, BTP, MDG, etc.) and SAP SaaS applications (Ariba, SuccessFactors, etc.) to enable customers run successful business transformation programmes enabled by SAP technology.
