The Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG), a part of KPMG Deal Advisory (DA), consists of ca. 400 professionals in the UK and is widely recognised as a leading independent financial, business and regulatory adviser in the infrastructure space. IAG has won many awards, including Financial Advisor of the Year (Infrastructure Journal) for several years. The IAG provides in-depth advice on strategic, financial, regulatory and commercial issues driving investments in infrastructure across Power & Utilities, Transport and Social Infrastructure in the UK and globally. Power & Utilities (P&U) is one of the largest business units in the IAG with c80 professionals. It encompasses work for large corporates in the sector (energy, water and other utilities), as well as financial investors and infrastructure funds. We provide in-depth advice on corporate finance and corporate financial management, regulatory finance, regulatory policy, business and financial planning, cost assessment and benchmarking, as well as transactions and energy transition.

Director - Global Compliance & Transformation – Managed Services

 

At KPMG we have re-imagined careers in Global Compliance & Transformation (GCT). A key focus for KPMG’s GCT team is to help multinational groups manage their global tax compliance, reporting and statutory accounting obligations, through outsourcing, co-sourcing, transformation and technology.

KPMG research shows that 2/3 of deals fail to deliver value, and amongst the top reasons are People and Culture. HR M&A was set up as part of the Integration & Separation (I&S) team in Deal Advisory, which has been growing year on year and seen by our clients as a market leader. We have worked on some of the largest and most high-profile client engagements in the deals space, including multi-billion spins, integration of global mega mergers, disposals of non-core assets for large multinationals. We have launched a market differentiating digital engagement platform for M&A as well as a campaign focused on ‘the Human Side of Deals’, and we continue to drive digital innovation.

The Indirect Tax practice is a fast-growing and dynamic business, currently with 21 partners and approximately 200 professional staff in the UK. We work as a national practice providing advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Green taxes) to a broad range of business sectors including large multi-nationals, household name retailers and public sector organisations.
