In the Finance Transformation team, we improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the finance function and generate real insights to help deliver value to the business. We work with leading public sector clients, focusing on understanding the core issues and opportunities to deliver value-adding change across their finance functions. The key drivers of change for our clients are: technology implementations, an ambition to be more efficient and effective, and a desire to progress along the maturity curve.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Manager to join our market leading Infrastructure, Government & Healthcare Finance Transformation team. You will play an important part in delivering our growth strategy and will manage project teams to deliver quality client engagements.

Applicants should have prior experience in the public or private sector, as well as in-depth knowledge of finance processes and technology

This exciting role is within our Midlands Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance team, based in our Birmingham or Nottingham office. 

Our clients include UK headquartered businesses and inbound groups across a range of sectors. 

Our work in the tax advisory space includes supporting clients with business and fiscal change. This can include advising on new jurisdiction entry, the development of new business areas, business reorganisations, tax authority enquiries, pre/post transaction reorganisations, refinancing, cash repatriation, interest deductibility and the impact global fiscal change (e.g. BEPS Pillar 2).

We work as a hybrid team where we get together in the office or at client sites at least twice a week to collaborate and learn together, with flexibility over how you spend the rest of your time.

• You will have overall responsibility for cost management, reporting, monitoring of recovery rates against budget and invoicing
• You will be responsible for delivering large sections/full work streams from end-to-end and will add value to your clients by working together with other areas of the business to become a trusted adviser
• Producing robust financial analysis and supporting your team by reviewing their work
• You will be a key contact for the client and advisors on a day-to-day basis
