The Opportunity

• KPMG Law wishes to hire a Senior Manager  - with at least 9 years post qualified experience in the real estate sector ideally working for real estate investment fund clients and owners with repeat activity. 
• The KPMG Law UK real estate team started in December 2013 and is now 7 strong including 2 Partners with further growth plans during 2025 already acting on repeat investment, development and asset management mandates for private equity funds and sovereign wealth clients.
• The successful candidates will have experience within corporate and/or transactional Real Estate and may or may not have a portable practice that they will bring with them to KPMG.
• The primary focus of the hires will be meaningful deal experience in this space (KPMG is not looking for real estate tax lawyers as part of these hires).
• Ideally the candidates will be known in the market with good contacts in the target client base.

As an assistant manager in the GBS team, you will flexible to work across all markets. You will be focused on supporting the delivery of market leading GBS solutions including GBS Strategy, Target Op Model design, GBS Transition/Implementation and Business Process Outsourcing advisory.

We also work closely with other functions within KPMG to advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, valuations, tax, accounting, and due diligence.

The utilities sector is a key business area for the Infrastructure Team and encompasses work for the large clients in the sector including all of the leading UK energy and water companies. We provide in depth strategic and technical advice on corporate finance issues, corporate financial management; regulatory finance, regulatory policy, business and financial planning, as well as other issues affecting value. Our business is continuously expanding and we are looking for high quality candidates to support our Power & Utilities business with a particular focus on financial and economic analysis, including cost of capital estimation, financeability assessments, risk and scenario analysis, financial modelling, investment appraisal & valuation.
