• Banking Accounting Advisory (BAA) is a team of Banking and Financial Services technical accounting specialists with extensive experience delivering expert accounting advisory services, financial reporting and regulatory change projects to major Tier-1 global banks, challenger banks and building societies.

• We have deep expertise in complex accounting within the Banking and Financial Services sector such as IFRS 9, hedge accounting, securitisations and other structured transactions, derivatives, and deal accounting for mergers and acquisitions and group reorganisations.

• We also provide SME advice on the critical interactions between IFRS and PRA/EBA regulatory regimes.

What will you be doing?

• Assist with the management of client opportunities, deliver live engagements and provide input into larger multi-disciplinary teams.

The role sits within our Banking Finance Transformation Capability working with Clients to deliver finance and regulatory change. Successful candidates should have excellent Banking Industry experience, as well as in-depth knowledge of Finance Operating Model and Finance Systems.

A key focus for KPMG’s GCT team is to help multinational groups and financial services clients manage their global tax compliance, reporting and statutory accounting obligations, through outsourcing, co-sourcing, transformation and technology. Our Corporate Tax Compliance business is made up of a dedicated and enthusiastic team of Corporate Tax Compliance specialists working with our cutting-edge technology platform and our advisory teams to provide a first-class service to our diverse client base which includes global and large domestic compliance clients with complex and interesting tax profiles. We are now looking for a talented individual at Senior Manager level. The successful candidate will have deep technical knowledge and thrive in a dynamic and challenging working environment to ensure excellent client service, and will be supported by a strong and ambitious leadership team.

We are seeking a talented manager with experience of working across a wide range of Corporate and Defence clients. They should be able to manage and deliver client engagements, with demonstrable experience of managing the design and delivery of complex change and people transformation programmes to support our clients with addressing key market challenges. Typically, these programmes would cover at least one of the following areas: Workforce Transformation (inc. AI), Organisation Design, Change Management, HR Transformation, Digital Transformation, Learning and Development.  Our work is incredibly varied, but would typically cover:

• Managing a team of consultants and collaborating closely with client teams to deliver client engagements
• Providing specialist advice and working closely with client leads and team members to successfully deliver project outcomes
• Contributing to business development and sales, working with account teams to scope opportunities and developing compelling proposals to win new clients
• Contributing to the development of methods, tools and thought leadership

The Resource Manager will provide a professional resource management service within Audit.  Working collaboratively with Resource Management across Audit to deliver consistent and effective resource support to the Audit function as a whole.
