KPMG is looking to recruit an assistant manager in their in-house Tax team that delivers

KPMG’s corporate and partnership tax filings and advising on UK tax compliance matters.

The individual will be required to demonstrate UK tax compliance experience, the ability to

work to tight deadlines and handle large volumes of data as well as oversee the work of

other team members. The work is by nature high profile and the ability to treat matters with

the utmost confidentiality will be key. The work will involve working closely with other tax

professionals to deliver an efficient tax compliance service.

This particular role is for an Assistant Manager or Manager to support a fast-paced, highly technical team in providing bespoke global tax services to major institutional investors and asset managers dealing with publicly traded securities.

Your Role:

• Master Technical Knowledge: Dive deep into the advisory aspect of operational taxes, including global withholding tax, capital gains tax, transfer tax, and related global tax compliance.
• Navigate Global Withholding Tax Relief Opportunities: Learn how clients can access WHT relief by way of ruling applications or tax reclaims under applicable tax treaties, domestic provisions and/or claims under the European Court of Justice.
• Client Relationship Management: Handle large global client relationships and projects with finesse.
• Collaborate Globally: Work closely with KPMG’s extensive network of member firms worldwide.
• Drive Business Development: Participate in business development and proposals to attract new clients.
• Innovate with Technology: Develop new client solutions in collaboration with our technology teams.
• Advocate Excellence: Represent KPMG and deliver “gold standard" services.

Support and Development:

In order to support the growth of our capabilities within the Customer, Operations and Infrastructure Financial Services (CO&I FS) team – aligned to the Wealth & Asset Management sector, we are currently looking to recruit Senior Managers who can make a significant contribution by combining an understanding of the Wealth & Asset Management industry with transformation, reorganisation and optimisation capabilities.

You will be a Senior Manager within our CO&I FS Ops team aligned to WAM Consulting and will be helping both grow our business and ensure our teams deliver high quality advice to clients. You should expect to be involved in a wide range of challenging client engagements across the WAM value chain for clients from across the ecosystem.
