The Privacy team is at the forefront of ensuring KPMG is compliant with the legislative and regulatory obligations outlined in data protection law. 

Operating in the 2nd Line of Defence as a Data Privacy Manager, you will support the delivery of the privacy compliance programme, empowering teams across the firm to navigate complexities of data protection and privacy compliance, helping to minimise risk.   

You will enable teams to assess engagements, processes and technologies for privacy compliance, including those leveraging transformational technologies such as Generative AI.  You will help drive internal compliance with KPMG’s obligations under Data Protection (GDPR, UKDPA) and Privacy of Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

The Data Privacy Manager will apply their data protection and privacy skills to perform all relevant duties as part of the Data Privacy Office Operating Model

Summary of Role

The SAP CDL is accountable for the quality of delivery of all SAP engagements, both functional and technical, through a matrixed team of Engagement Leaders and Engagement Managers. The CDL enables the growth of our SAP business by validating dealboard submissions, driving resourcing (on, near and offshore), embedding scalable and repeatable methods, incorporating lessons learned to improve delivery, and providing delivery assurance to SAP engagements.

• Manage timely resource planning and recruitment of functional and technical resources for all SAP engagements across all locations – on, near and offshore along with global reach to other KPMG locations and third parties

Tax Transformation (Data and Automation) – Assistant Manager

We are looking for talented Assistant Managers to join us in Canada Square, London (although flexibility on location will be considered) with experience in a broad range of areas including:

• Tax compliance, automation and reporting experience, particularly around indirect taxes, including EMEA compliance
• Familiarity with end-to-end finance processes (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Record-to-report) and their integration with tax
• Advising on appropriate tax technology to support compliance and reporting processes
• Tax technology implementation experience, including requirements gathering from a tax, IT & User Interface perspective, and creating and reviewing design documentation
• Tax transformation experience, including tax governance, process design and improvement
• Project management
• Client and engagement management

In addition to these key areas, other desirable but not essential skills include:

• Data, data bases, data transmission and data transformation including an understanding of structured query language (SQL)

Tax Technology & Innovation are a team of 300+ technologists providing technology enablement services and solutions across the Tax and Law business. This business has 2500+ tax & legal professionals covering multiple disciplines. 

The team is made up of Technology Consultants, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Data Architects & Engineers, Multi-disciplinary Engineering teams and IT Service delivery professionals working on a large portfolio of systems used to improve productivity and solve key business problems across Tax & Legal.

A key focus is working with KPMG’s Global Compliance & Transformation (‘GCT’) team to grow our managed service business, helping multinational groups manage and transform their global tax and accounting compliance and reporting requirement across multiple operating regions.

The Role

• Lead the design and delivery of a Supply Chain workstream on a large SAP S/4HANA project
• Use Business skills along with knowledge of SAP Supply Chain workstream to design and implement complex solutions for customers and between other workstreams
• Understand client supply chain requirements and integration points with other functional areas, to optimise the processes and maximise the benefits of SAP
• Design and implement process improvements by going through the project cycle (design, build, test, training, go-live, post go-live support)
