This exciting role is within our Corporate Tax Team based in the Manchester office. As part of a high performing team you will work with a diverse portfolio of large clients across UK listed, PE-backed, inbound and family-owned groups, and take on a variety of projects including BEPS Pillar 2, tax structuring and international expansion.

We are looking for a talented and technically-orientated Senior Manager level to support our rapid growth in international tax provision. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and challenging working environment, supported by a strong and ambitious leadership team.

The role will suit either a Senior Manager wanting to drive their tax career forward or an ambitious Manager wanting to take the next step.

KPMG’s Tax Technology & Innovation team comprises 160+ technologists providing technology enablement services and solutions across the tax & legal business.
The team is made up of product owners, business analysts, multi-disciplinary engineering teams and it service delivery professionals working on a large portfolio of systems used to improve productivity and solve key business problems across tax & legal.  
A key focus is working with KPMG’s Global Compliance & Transformation (‘GCT’) team is to grow our managed service business, helping multinational groups manage and transform their global tax and accounting compliance and reporting requirement across multiple operating regions. 
Leveraging award-winning technology, we enable our clients to utilise KPMG’s compliance and transformation expertise to drive better visibility, greater efficiency and improved risk management across their organisation and responsibilities. We are winning new clients and are growing our technology implementation team as a result of these successes. This is an exciting time to be part of the GCT technology implementation team at KPMG. 

The successful candidate will be expected to:
•    Developing lasting client relationships and actively building a network and range of experience to help address client needs 
•    Provide compelling and well thought out solutions to problems of moderate complexity Experience of implementing at least one module of the relevant cloud platform with Oracle, so you can bring your learnings to the client about what did (or didn’t!) work •    Leading client facing meetings and facilitation of workshops with larger groups of client teams 
•    Lead an offshore team to design, configure and test a module or process area to successful deployment for a client Developing end to end solutions using the best of good industry practise combined with understanding the optionality available within the product. 
•    Liaise with stakeholders across Powered HR, cross collaborating with other teams across Powered HR, ensuring opportunities are shared and explored to maximise our offering to clients.
•    Be a role model to the wider team by showcasing our values and principles, leading from the front and by example.
•    Assisting with goal development and coaching of staff to enable the growth of the junior management team within our practice.
