We are a specialist function within KPMG’s Audit Practice whose purpose it is to review and challenge complex statistical models used within audited entities as part of the overall financial audit process. Our team is made up of credit risk analysts from a broad and diverse range of quantitative backgrounds, including mathematics, engineering, physics, econometrics, and statistics.

This role will lead the Talent Deployment – Audit team aligned FS. With a fixed book of work and a complex pattern of regulation and accreditation requirements, it is critical that the Audit Resourcing Senior Manager FS is able to optimise the resourcing within the performance group.  The appropriate allocation of resources to engagements has a significant impact to quality, our financial results and our people experience all of which are key pillars of our strategy.

What will you be doing?

• Manage and work with engagement teams to develop claim methodologies and prepare R&D tax relief claims for submission to HMRC. Taking responsibility and accountability for your own, and your team’s work.
• Lead meetings with the senior IT technical and financial client stakeholders; and provide expert advice in relation to innovation advisory services (R&D, Patent Box, Grant Applications). Help to establish and maintain strong client relationships with both existing and new clients.
