The People in M&A Centre of Excellence deals with all aspects of the employee journey in M&A, as well as leveraging our experience to enact transformational change outside of a deal context. From early-stage strategy development and organisational design for carve-outs, to synergy cases and cost benefits, employee experience and corporate culture, employee transfer, through to the conception, development and management of effective transformational solutions to help an organisation achieve its ambitions and objectives. We work together to develop solutions to the issues our clients may face and understand the financial benefits or risks that may be present from a people perspective. What will you be doing?

In this role, you will work on and lead projects by working closely alongside senior members of the team, who will provide guidance and insight into the deal environment, enabling you to build your deals knowledge and further develop your people, OD, strategy and HR skills. You will also leverage your change and consulting skillset to deliver top-tier transformational change for clients outside of a deal context.

Our team works with clients from owner managed business, to large multinational organisation, and we are looking for a Director with a strong information technology background to assist clients across a suite of innovation advisory services including R&D tax credits, Patent Box, R&D Allowances, Grants and Innovation Advisory services.

Role and Responsibilities:

KPMG's Tax practice is a dynamic and successful area of our business. A constantly changing and increasingly high-profile field, Tax can offer a surprisingly broad range of quality career paths to ambitious people. Our CTAC department is a fast growing part of our Tax practice with a diverse client base ranging from PE-backed, owner managed and family businesses through to UK listed and multinationals. Working in our successful CTAC department will give you the opportunity to develop relationships with clients as you help with advisory work and manage the compliance process.

This exciting role is within our Corporate Tax Team based in the Manchester office. As part of a high performing team you will work with a diverse portfolio of large clients across UK listed, PE-backed, inbound and family-owned groups, and take on a variety of projects including BEPS Pillar 2, tax structuring and international expansion.

We are looking for a talented and technically-orientated Senior Manager level to support our rapid growth in international tax provision. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and challenging working environment, supported by a strong and ambitious leadership team.

The role will suit either a Senior Manager wanting to drive their tax career forward or an ambitious Manager wanting to take the next step.

Enterprise Hybrid Cloud Platform Architect (Advisory) – Senior Manager – National Security

Important - due to the nature of the work, it is essential for applicants to hold current 'National Security Vetting’ aligned to a UK National Security organisation.

KPMG’s AI & Platform Engineering practice helps clients transform the way they deliver the technology underpinnings of their businesses. We work with the UK’s largest and most complex organisations to:

• Develop strategies for the adoption and exploitation of modern platform technologies – both in the cloud and on-premises.
• Build the operating models, architectures and capabilities to deliver value from cloud and hybrid platforms.
• Help clients operate their platform estates effectively and cost-efficiently over the long term.

We need Hybrid Platform Architects that are comfortable providing advice and delivering to C-suite leaders and senior client technologists across our whole client base but, in particular, this role will be aligned to our well-established National Security team.
