About the Role:

The Dynamics CE Solution Architect is a core team member of KPMG customer delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 cantered solutions. The CE Solution Architect should have extensive experience across all phases of enterprise Dynamics CE projects. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is a must as this role will entail continuous interaction with clients, managing onshore consultants, working alongside both onshore and offshore development teams. This role will also require a level of presales activities focused on Dynamics CE functionality, Power Platform, and the wider Microsoft platform. You will also contribute to proposal development and provide input in business development whilst leading and mentoring more junior staff.

 

This role is an important element of KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions’ delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE projects. It is a dynamic and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business area within an established and market-leading global Big 4 firm.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality business and software solutions to our clients using your knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE functional capabilities working closely with client teams and business stakeholders
  • Lead, organise, manage, and document workshops, meetings and requirements sessions with the client representatives, project stakeholders and delivery team(s)
  • Ownership for the delivery of high-quality business and software solutions to our clients using their deep understanding of Dynamics 365 CE functional capabilities
  • Ownership of gathering and documentation of functional requirements and complete gap/fit analysis for workstream
  • Be responsible for ensuring our pre-sales engagements are delivered with the same rigour and attention to detail as our client engagements

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving utilisation and dependence upon our firm as the go-to place for all things Microsoft at KPMG. Acting as a trusted advisor, the BDM will support member firms in shaping strategic approaches that meet their clients’ business and technology needs.

The role will focus on creating and progressing opportunities for MBS across the International market, particularly within the Commercial Sector—which includes industries such as manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, technology, logistics, energy, professional services, healthcare, hospitality, and education. Leveraging a hybrid skillset of business development, presales, technical expertise, and delivery know-how, the BDM will help position our capabilities effectively within these dynamic sectors.

 

Business Development

  • Own the development and execution of a demand generation strategy for a key industry market to drive pipeline and sales to agreed KPI’s
  • Develop the overall positioning, uniqueness, and messaging for the Microsoft offerings through KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions into that industry
  • Responsible for the generation of pipeline and execution of sales for the organisation
  • Identify and develop opportunities for the organisation to diversify across sub industry, emerging technology and services propositions to build pipeline

Overview

This exciting role is within our South Region Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance (CTAC) team, based in our Reading office. KPMG’s CTAC team has an immediate need for an Assistant Manager to support delivery of a range of engagements across corporate tax advisory, compliance and related work. The CTAC Reading team has a very strong market reputation working with leading Global clients on a range of tax services. There is a strong pipeline of project and advisory work. Our clients include UK headquartered businesses and large international groups across a range of sectors including TMT, healthcare amongst others. Our work in the tax advisory space includes supporting clients with business and fiscal change. This can include advising on new jurisdiction entry, the development of new business areas, business reorganisations, tax authority enquiries, pre/post transaction reorganisations, refinancing, cash repatriation, interest deductibility and the impact global fiscal change (e.g. BEPS Pillar 2). The Role

• Being one of the main points of contact on a portfolio of clients on day-to-day tax matters and working with Partner/Director group, Senior Managers and Managers on our larger client accounts

• Supporting tax advisory projects by providing UK corporation tax input based on experience and researching topics and by working with other areas of tax and our overseas members firms to incorporate their input into our advice
