About this team

The Global Insurance Management Team (“GIMT”) is responsible for the management, oversight and coordination of KPMG's Global Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) and First Party Cyber Insurance Programs providing business critical insurance to approximately 145 member firms within the KPMG network. The GIMT acts as a principal point of contact between insurers/brokers and KPMG Member Firms, providing guidance to KPMG Member Firms on matters pertaining to the Global PII and Cyber insurance programs and is involved in the development and procurement of other insurance placements for KPMG International.

Role summary

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Insurance Manager to join our Global Insurance Management Team (“GIMT”) experienced in the field of financial lines insurance particularly Professional Indemnity Insurance (“PII”) and Cyber Insurance. The individual will work closely with other GIMT team members and be responsible for providing technical insurance support in respect of KPMG's Global PII and Cyber Insurance Programs and in support of ongoing business change initiatives. The individual will interface directly with a range of internal and external stakeholders including KPMGI Senior Leadership, KPMG Member Firm Senior Partners, Risk Management Partners, General Counsels, insurers (including captive insurers) and brokers.

The role will focus on providing technical support and guidance relating to all aspects of insurance program management including program design and implementation, policy wording reviews, coverage analysis, insurance support for business change initiatives and issues associated with global insurance programs including insurance regulatory compliance. The Role

Deal Advisory Tax provides market leading services to both Corporate and Financial investors.  Whilst we have teams focused on clients in four key markets Corporates; Private Equity & Credit; Real Estate and Energy & Infrastructure, we are a national and connected team, working and learning with each other.

• Corporates:  We work alongside some of the most forward-thinking FTSE 100 and 250 businesses, as well as Corporates across the UK, supporting them with strategic acquisitions, carve outs, de-mergers, disposals, and joint ventures both in the UK and cross-border. Our corporates business is a multi-sector business, including Consumer, Life sciences, TMT, Industrials, ENR and Banking & Insurance.

This area continues to grow and we are looking for a high quality candidate to support our Power & Utilities business with a particular focus on giving strategic advice to clients in relation to the evolving regulation and policy framework affecting the energy networks.

You will join a cross-functional ESP leadership team led by the Head of Education, Skills and Productivity and supported by a sales executive and a BDM focused on central government, and working alongside a talented team of partners and directors who face into the wider education market.

The role is to lead the translation of the national ESP market strategy into national and regional growth plans and in doing so ensure the plans reflect local client issues and the local impact of national public sector policy.
