HR M&A was set up as part of the Integration & Separation (I&S) team in Deal Advisory, which has been growing year on year and seen by our clients as a market leader. We have worked on some of the largest and most high-profile client engagements in the deals space, including multi-billion spins, integration of global mega mergers, disposals of non-core assets for large multinationals. We have launched a market differentiating digital engagement platform for M&A as well as a campaign focused on ‘the Human Side of Deals’, and we continue to drive digital innovation.

This is an opportunity to be part of a fast growing, dynamic, working flexibly, collaborative culture and diverse team, made up of HR deals professionals working alongside with deal execution teams on large scale, global integrations, separations and Joint Venture, across a range of sectors (Financial Services, Healthcare, Real Estate, Consumer, Industrial, Technology, Media and Telecommunications or Business Services). We work together to develop solutions to the issues our clients may face and understand the financial benefits or risks that may be present from a people perspective.

• KPMG Law wishes to hire a Senior Manager  - with significant post qualified experience in the real estate sector ideally working for clients with repeat activity. 
• The KPMG Law UK real estate team started in December 2023 and is now 11 strong including 5 Partners with further growth plans during 2026 already acting on repeat investment, development and asset management mandates for private equity funds, sovereign wealth and listed property company clients.
• The successful candidates will have experience within corporate and/or transactional Real Estate and may or may not have a portable practice that they will bring with them to KPMG.
• The primary focus of the hires will be meaningful deal experience in this space (KPMG is not looking for real estate tax lawyers as part of these hires).
• Ideally the candidates will be known in the market with good contacts in the target client base.
• As this sector is known to lack diversity, KPMG is dedicated to considering diverse profiles for this role.
• The ideal candidates are likely to come from law firms but candidates from competitor firms or in-house will also be considered.
