Global Immigration

Our client accounts are very large and still growing strongly and we need a Global Immigration professionals to support our clients in strategic mobility discussions and our client teams in immigration substance issues as well as project management.

Your role and responsibilities will include, for example:

• Immigration services to our clients’ employees 
• Advisory services and coordination of global assignments
• Vendor management and close collaboration with the KPMG network globally 
• Participation to the development of our service offering and sales

As an ideal candidate, you have a higher education degree and some previous experience in global immigration from working as an in-house global mobility person, HR employee, a global mobility professional in a consulting firm or experience from working with a relevant public authority. Knowledge on immigration, cross-border employee relocation as well as intercultural trainings are seen as an advantage.

Fluent communication skills in English are needed for this role. Knowledge of other languages are seen as an advantage.

In the role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering our  most complex audit engagements to a high standard of quality, from planning through to completion. 

You will have your own portfolio of large and/or complex audited entities, with responsibility for agreeing audit timetables, briefing the audit team (including specialists), monitoring budgets, and supervising the KPMG audit process. You will manage and nurture stakeholder relationships at audited entities throughout the engagement, working with senior level staff.

You are also likely to have a departmental role, facilitating the internal operations of running the business, for example, roles relating to finance, technology, quality, people etc. 

As an Audit Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading teams and supervising the work of junior staff, providing coaching and development to assist them in the effective delivery of engagements. You will also have performance management responsibilities for a small number of employees.

Role Summary

KPMG Deliver Network (KDN) Tax & Legal is looking for a Senior Manager for it's (GMS) Global Mobility Services in Tax & Legal practive to build up centralized Market Development capabilities for the GMS service line, in order to manage central account and pursuit planning, as well as live RFP support. This role is vital for GMS global growth plans and will ensure the success of the practice.

How you will make your mark

Markets Focus:

- Drive collaboration with Lead Member Firms across the globe on account and opportunity planning (for both external targets and existing clients), to position KPMG in the best possible way to succeed in the market

- Lead on all aspects of key global pursuits, including global & regional priority targets, by providing market expertise, guidance, and instruction to the Lead Pursuit Partner, to ensure our greatest chance of success (with support from Senior Pursuit Leaders)

- For existing clients, lead central support in account planning, strategic relationship building and service expansion, bringing SMEs to their client and accessing the newest, most innovative solutions KPMG offer

- Lead our professional approach to pursuits, promoting best practices and ensuring that where applicable we bring the best of KPMG (people, technology, and service offerings) regardless of location

Change:

- Be an ambassador of and support with shaping GMS market strategy and centralized bid support and communicate the value it brings to lead member firms (i.e. efficiency gains, lower cost in going to market, top-quality materials, access to expertise)

- Actively drive high class sales culture and entrepreneurial mindset across our global network

Leadership:

- Be a leader in creating and operating a new agile centralized global GMS Market COE (a virtual team of SMEs and Markets specialists based in several member firms). The Markets COE responsibilities include centralized live RFP support (written and oral presentation), opportunity specific pursuit planning, ownership of standard RFP materials, contracting support and RFP debrief governance

The Ops and Supply COE within our Global Deal Advisory business. We specialise in supporting manufacturing, supply chain and procurement across the end-to-end deal cycle from operational due diligence, value creation, integration and separation. Over the last few years, we have established a reputation as the leading provider of operations deal advice on global transactions, particularly within the Life Sciences sector. Our team brings a depth of both industry and functional expertise, combined with an agile and value led approach to deliver at deal speed. We have large growth ambitions and a strong pipeline to enable further penetration into other sectors including Consumer and Retail, Industrial Manufacturing and ENR. We are looking for someone to bring extensive procurement experience in a deals environment to lead and drive our procurement proposition forward with an ambition to become a future leader in our Deal Advisory business. The Vendor Management team is part of the Technology Business Management function within Enterprise-Wide Technology (EWT) reporting to the Commercial & Vendor Management Lead.  The team is responsible for the day-to-day management of EWT major Tier 1 and 2 Vendors including key Managed Services Outsourcing contracts and Software deals. The team works closely with the EWT Senior Leadership and IT Procurement Teams, inputting into the overall IT Sourcing strategy which underpins EWT and KPMG Business Strategy.

The EWT Senior Vendor Manager will play a pivotal role in driving value, innovation and delivery assurance to realise the commercial strategy and financial control with our key vendors.

The role will be a key interface between the EWT Service Ops and Platform Engineering teams, who are responsible for operationalising the services delivered by the Vendors and KPMG Technology Procurement who play a key role in the contracting process.
