The Technology in M&A team at KPMG is a growing and dynamic team. We deal with all aspects of the technology function, from strategy, cloud, digital, technology spend, etc. We work with both acquirers and vendors on pre- and post-deal technology issues.

Our Public Sector Audit team operates across all aspect of the UK Public Sector. Our portfolio includes entities with the NHS, Central Government, Local Government, Charities, Higher Education Institutions and Social Housing.

 

Our Public Sector Audit team therefore provides you with the opportunity for specialism, whilst maintaining variety in the sectors and clients you work with. The team also deliver several Companies Act audits for subsidiary entities within their portfolio. 

 

You will have your own portfolio of large and/or complex audited entities across a range of sectors, with responsibility for agreeing audit timetables, briefing the audit team (including specialists), monitoring budgets, and supervising the KPMG audit process. You will manage and nurture stakeholder relationships at audited entities throughout the engagement, working with senior level staff.

Our Transaction Services practice comprises approximately 500 people across the UK, organised to align to KPMG’s market orientated structure, and is at the heart of the Firm's agenda to increase its penetration of boardrooms and work with clients across the economic and transaction cycle.  Our team works closely with colleagues across Deal Advisory as well as Tax, Audit and other Advisory teams; it is a multi-disciplinary and international environment that sits right at the heart of our One Firm agenda. Over the last few years, we have established a reputation as the leading provider of operations deal advice on global transactions, particularly within the Life Sciences sector. Our team brings a depth of both industry and functional expertise, combined with an agile and value led approach to deliver at deal speed. We have large growth ambitions and a strong pipeline to enable further penetration into other sectors including Consumer and Retail, Industrial Manufacturing and ENR. We are looking for someone to bring extensive procurement experience in a deals environment to lead and drive our procurement proposition forward with an ambition to become a future leader in our Deal Advisory business.
