The Regulatory Finance Director provides senior leadership to the Regulatory Finance team, working closely with other Directors and Partners in P&U to lead our client engagements and lead business development activity.

The Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG), a part of KPMG Deal Advisory (DA), consists of over 350 professionals in the UK and is widely recognised as a leading independent financial, business and regulatory adviser in the infrastructure space. IAG has won many awards, including Financial Advisor of the Year (Infrastructure Journal) for several years. The IAG provides in-depth advice on strategic, financial, regulatory and commercial issues driving investments in infrastructure across Transport, Power & Utilities, and Social Infrastructure in the UK and globally. Our work includes market and policy design, economic and regulatory analysis, deal structuring and execution, as well as strategic and transaction advice to enable private and public capital to fund infrastructure. What will you be doing?

• Creating annual internal audit plans for clients
• Providing internal audit services on both outsourced and co-sourced contractual basis
• Managing and directly delivering individual and /or a programme of internal audit projects which includes planning, review, quality assurance and reporting

As an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading both the delivery of work on the ground and the development of new opportunities for KPMG, maintaining insights and perspectives on how our markets are changing and how our capabilities align. You will own many critical relationships and operate as a trusted advisor to senior clients, helping to shape solutions, inform decisions and drive implementation.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, Global Advisory, the candidate will be a key member of the global KPMG Advisory marketing team focusing primarily on the marketing of our Deal Advisory practice. 

Role Summary

This complex and diverse role is responsible for leading the global marketing that will position KPMG strongly in the Deal Advisory marketplace. Within a fast pace and competitive market the role includes development of the necessary marketing plans, assets and toolkits for the KPMG member firms to activate, including global thought leadership studies and solutions campaigns for demand generation.   

The candidate  will work with colleagues in sector and functional marketing teams to promote our capabilities and support revenue generation. This individual will have one direct report supporting the DA agenda.

The Marketing Director, Global Deal Advisory will be part of the Deal Advisory leadership team and collaborate and build consensus with numerous stakeholders – including working closely with deal advisory leadership, and global and member firm marketing and communications teams, subject matter experts, and key third parties.
