You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across UK listed, PE backed, inbound and family owned groups, and take on a variety of advisory projects, including tax structuring, domestic tax advice and international advice. Previous experience of working with multinationals is helpful, but strong technical skills, drive and curiosity are essential

Role Summary

The Senior Pursuit Leader – HGS & Tech will have accountability for the execution of HGS and Tech components of key global pursuits, including global & regional priority targets and major high growth service opportunities.

Markets Focus:

• Oversee planning and where appropriate lead strategic HGS pursuits providing market expertise, guidance, and instruction to the Lead Pursuit Partner / Lead • • • • Member Firm to ensure our greatest chance of success.

• Close collaboration with HGS leaders and strategic focus on executing key elements of the HGS market strategies (set out by the Global HGS leads, ratified by the Global Head of Markets), to achieve our global market share and revenue goals.

• Close collaboration with GMS Tech leadership in driving KPMG LINK Go market approach and narrative (across all relevant modules).

Roles and Responsibilities: Assisting clients in the development of data protection strategy Advising clients on cross border data transfers Supporting clients with the data protection elements of their transformation programmes, including group restructuring, outsourcing, large scale technology programmes Advising on data ethics The applicant must be keen to develop and broaden his/her legal skills to include working on multi-disciplinary projects and being closer to the business side of these projects. The successful applicant will be a self-starter and a strong performer and team player who is focussed on helping to ensure that the team successfully delivers projects for its clients. While consulting appropriately on difficult issues, he/she must be able to deliver robust and appropriate legal advice and exercise sound judgement. He/she must be able to demonstrate sound client relationship and business development skills, and a keenness to develop these skills further.
