School and College Leaver Programmes: Business Support Academy
The Business Support Academy (BSA) offers a hands-on, blended-learning approach and experience to work and study.
It is a 13 month apprenticeship programme across Central Services. As a new apprentice you will be fully supported throughout the programme with guidance from the BSA programme team, our KPMG Professional Qualification Team and the external training provider BPP.
The BSA offers an alternative entry route into our business, and is open to students who have completed their GCSEs or Scottish Highers.
"We believe the Business Support Academy provides a unique opportunity for young people to fulfil their potential and succeed in a professional environment that they may not have thought they had an opportunity to join through conventional means. The issue of supporting youth employment remains fundamental in society, therefore we have continued to work closely with BPP and the National Apprenticeship Service to continue to grow and develop our scheme to ensure it is an opportunity for a wide and diverse group of young talent."
Tricia Madden - Head of Business Support
How is the programme structured?
The programme offers you the chance to obtain the Level 3 Advanced NVQ qualification in Business Administration. Please note, that there may be some module variation dependent on where in Central Services you are located and your specific role.
The learning approach we offer is a virtual classroom method, with monthly visits from a BPP Learning Assessor and a virtual platform to offer tools and mechanisms for your complete learning path. The NVQ qualification will consist of written assessments and exams.
I’m interested. How do I apply?
