About the team

Global Quality & Risk Management (GQ&RM) Global Digital Risk (GDR) manages quality and risk management policies and procedures for KPMG and provides associated guidance. GQ&RM monitors the quality of service delivery across all of KPMG’s businesses, establishes and oversees compliance with risk management policies and protocols, helps protect the brand and reputation of KPMG, and ensures trusted and respectful relationships with the regulatory community across the KPMG network.

Role Summary

The Global Digital Risk (GDR) team is responsible for the development, maintenance, and assurance of the firm's critical global digital risk policies and awareness training, reviews of the testing of a baseline set of information protection & security controls, global privacy, and risk management (including risk management for emerging technologies).

Reporting to the GDR Sr. Director, you will be working across the GDR teams.

Experience & knowledge

•    Proven experience  in information protection & privacy controls
•    Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information as well as report writing and presenting findings;
•    Ability to see the “big picture” (ability to prioritise and see what is most important);

We are looking for an experienced and high performing professional who will play a critical role in expanding and leading our Global Mobility Service (GMS) Transitions COE Team.  Centralized Transition services is a key priority for GMS to meet the ambitious growth plans and this professional will play a key role in ensuring our future success as a global practice.

This role plays a crucial role to support KPMG Country Member Firms as they bring new clients into KPMG.  The Global Centralized Transitions Lead is going to be responsible for leading the teams to ensure a seamless onboarding of clients and their employees into KPMG process and technology systems.  They will be responsible for evolving the overall playbook for Centralized Transitions to include further GMS service lines as well as focusing on streamlining and automating the exisiting activities. 

The Centralized Transitions Lead will be expected to build and utilize their network to drive business development with KPMG member firms including supporting proposals and presentations to potential clients.

•    Working with delivery center team leaders to motivate a team of Project Management and Global Mobility specialists across multiple locations
•    Build and leverage your network of GMS leaders across KPMG member firms to support business development and ultimately drive Centralized Transitions activity

An opportunity has arisen in our insurance tax team, specifically focused on the life insurance part of the market. The team provides tax advisory, tax compliance and tax audit services in the life insurance sector, with advisory work spanning a range of corporate, M&A and product tax issues. 

KPMG’s Insurance tax team, part of the wider FS tax team, is a group of around thirty tax professionals of all grades with a strong market reputation working with leading global and UK insurance groups. The team is spread across several sites including centres in London and Edinburgh. The team works as a national team and location does not dictate client allocation.

We are looking for capable, enthusiastic professionals with experience of the life insurance market, and of corporate tax for life insurance groups.

The role involves leading delivery across a range of tax advisory, M&A tax, tax compliance and tax audit engagements in the sector. In addition to delivery, the role will include building client relationships as part of wider client service teams and embedding tax into opportunities where relevant, as well as taking tax propositions to clients.
