KPMG’s Major Projects Advisory (MPA) team works with some of the world’s most demanding organisations, helping to crack some of the biggest challenges in Infrastructure.

This role is for an innovative professional at Manager level, who can work alongside our existing team to use their lived experience of construction and commercial acumen to solve complex problems.

The MPA team in the UK are based in London, Birmingham and Manchester. This role will be based in one of these locations but will require some travel to client locations throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.

What will you be doing?

Working as a key member of the team to provide Transfer Pricing tax advice to a broad range of clients helping them to achieve their commercial objectives. This role involves working on a range of projects.

It is an exciting time to join the team. The work is varied, often high-profile and rewarding. We are working on some fascinating public issues including delivery models for central government departments, delivery of high-profile government policy commitments in the health sector,  understanding ESG/sustainability implications for the public sector and its partners, spanning some of the largest and most complex transformation programmes in the UK.

In the role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering our largest and most complex audit engagements to a high standard of quality, from planning through to completion. 

You will have your own portfolio of large and/or complex audited entities, with responsibility for agreeing audit timetables, briefing the audit team (including specialists), monitoring budgets and supervising the KPMG audit process. You will manage and nurture stakeholder relationships at audited entities throughout the engagement, working with senior level staff.

You are also likely to have a departmental role, facilitating the internal operations of running the business, for example, roles relating to finance, technology, quality, people etc. 

As an Audit Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading teams and supervising the work of junior staff, providing coaching and development to assist them in the effective delivery of engagements. You will also have performance management responsibilities for a small number of employees.
