Our Transaction Services team collaborate with organisations of all shapes and sizes across a broad range of Mergers and Acquisitions activity. We are an integrated team of specialists helping clients focus on the key questions during the critical stages of planning and executing a deal, creating and enhancing value.

We work alongside some of the most forward-thinking FTSE 100 and 250 businesses, as well as Corporates across the UK, supporting them with strategic acquisitions, carve outs, de-mergers, disposals, and joint ventures both in the UK and cross-border. Our corporates business is a multi-sector business, including ENR.   Our energy clients span oil and gas, power and utilities (including renewables), mining and chemicals.  

We provides advisory services across a whole spectrum of areas including deals (including buy-side due diligence and structuring, sell-side vendor assists and vendor due diligence, refinancing and listing support) and international tax (structuring, financing, leasing etc). 

We work collaboratively across the KPMG network, our work often involves advice on multiple countries, taxes, and work.

The Cyber Response & Recovery Assistant Manager role will be working in the Cyber Response Services (CRS) Team within our Advisory practice, reporting directly to the cyber response leadership. Cyber security is one of the areas which KPMG has identified for tremendous investment and growth. Our clients face a challenging cyber threat and look to us to help them understand and respond to that threat.

This is a hands-on role, and an opportunity to join a high performing team that works with a wide variety of clients, as KPMG are one of just nine tier 1 responders in the UK. As such, you will gain a huge amount of experience in a short space of time and will also have the opportunity to be put through a range of security certifications.

• Manager role within Transfer Pricing Compliance

The Role

KPMG’s Energy and Natural Resources (“ENR”) tax practice covers Oil and Gas, Mining, Power and Utilities (including renewables) and Chemicals. As our clients are facing unprecedented change with the energy transition and fiscal uncertainty our ENR tax and legal practice is growing significantly.   

Our clients comprise some of the largest global ENR clients, covering both UK headquartered and inbound groups. Our work covers deal advisory support, international tax and domestic tax advice.  A successful candidate would have opportunities to work across these areas. Working collaboratively across the KPMG network, our work often involves advice on multiple countries, taxes, and work streams.

Our work in the tax advisory space includes supporting clients with business and fiscal change. This can include advising on new jurisdiction entry, the development of new business areas, business reorganisations, refinancing and leasing as well as the impact of windfall taxes and global fiscal change (e.g. BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2).
