Within our recruitment process, we look for more than just your academic results. This wider perspective helps us ensure that we are giving you the best opportunity to demonstrate your potential. We assess your application against KPMG’s Global Behavioural Capabilities and combine a number of different factors, including work experience and how you perform in our recruitment process to build our confidence in whether you will be a success at KPMG. 

Academic requirements for Undergraduate Programmes to start in 2019

Generally, we’ll expect you to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Grade B GCSE Maths and grade B GCSE English Language or equivalent
  • 300 UCAS Tariff points* or equivalent
  • On track to achieve a 2:1 degree in any discipline

Please note, we only consider your GCSE grades and top three A-Level grades. We do not accept General Studies.

*120 UCAS points for those who passed exams from 2017 onwards. Please see each programme for specific information.

Studied in Scotland?

GCSE Equivalent: Standard Grades/ Intermediate 2/National 5s:

We look for a minimum of a grade 2 at Standard grade or a B in Int 2/National 5 in Maths and English

UCAS Points Equivalent:

Highers

You’ll need to have sat at least four Highers in 5th year, we will then take the top five Highers from across 5th and 6th year. 

Extenuating circumstances

We sometimes relax these criteria in extenuating circumstances. For example, you may like us to consider something that has affected your academic results. On the application form, you’ll find a section that allows you to do this.

International students

At KPMG in the UK, we believe we can learn as much from our people as they do from us. So we positively welcome international applications for our undergraduate programmes.
