KPMG’s FS Corporate Tax team has an immediate need for an Insurance Tax Senior Manager to support delivery of a range of engagements across corporate tax advisory and tax audit assist work. The KPMG FS Corporate Tax Team has a strong market reputation working with leading Global and UK banks and insurers on a range of tax services. There is a strong pipeline of project and advisory work.

Indirect Tax - VAT

KPMG has one of the leading Indirect Tax practices in the UK. Our 20 Partners and approximately 200 professionals provide advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Environmental Taxes) to a broad range of business sectors including large multi-nationals, household name retailers and public sector organisations.
Within the National Markets Indirect Tax team we have specialists in sectors such as Retail, Supply Chain and International Trade, FS, Public Sector, Leisure and Travel. The majority of the team specialise in VAT but we also have Trade and Customs and Environmental Tax specialists within the team. Our clients range from large organisations and corporates through to smaller fast growing businesses. The team deliver value and support our portfolio of clients.

It is critical for the firm to navigate these restrictions accurately and efficiently to continue to build trust with our audited entities and clients. In this interesting and challenging environment, we are looking to recruit an Assistant, in a permanent role, to work with a team of specialists who will be responsible for providing first-line independence support to UK audit teams, including non-audit service permissibility assessments, clearance reviews for audit targets and Sentinel tree accuracy. The team will be expected to provide high-quality advice and support to engagement teams.
