In this role, you will lead exciting client engagements, drive sales and pre-sales activities, and maintain strong executive-level relationships. You will act as a leader for our teams, coach and mentor junior members, and contribute to our go-to-market activities by building the KPMG brand and being visible as a trusted advisor within the market and our alliance ecosystem. You will also play a key role in governance, ensuring compliance and quality are embedded in our sales approach.

This position is critical in shaping sales and pre-sales strategies, delivering impactful presentations, and demonstrating the value of solutions to prospective clients. The Director will also be instrumental in building and maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.

You will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market share, focusing on ServiceNow, Process and Automation solutions and services. We are looking for a proven leader with a strong track record of success in selling complex solutions across diverse industries.

The role

 

  • Acting as the day-to-day contact on audit and tax reporting engagements, liaising with audit teams, the client and AARTS/tax managers
  • Reviewing, testing and documenting technical tax disclosures prepared by clients and their independent advisers
  • Delegating delivery of work to junior colleagues whilst maintaining control of quality and timetables.
    Developing and maintaining client relationships across a portfolio of clients.
  • Developing and maintaining internal relationships with the audit teams, and other departments.
  • Mentoring and developing of junior members of staff.
  • Keep up to date and share technical insights with rest of AARTS team.

  • Developing and maintaining client relationships

The Person

We are looking for candidates with the following skills/experience:

  • Either a CTA, CA, ACA, ACCA qualification or attained a Bachelors or Masters degree in economics, finance, law, accounting or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years of transfer pricing experience, preferably including experience of preparing transfer pricing documentation, tax value chain analyses, benchmarking, supporting with tax authority enquiries/Advance Pricing Agreements, project management and managing junior team members
  • Sound judgement, including the ability to identify and evaluate risk issues and know when to involve others.
  • High level of analytical skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice
  • High level of drive and enthusiasm with a positive attitude
  • Good commercial awareness and a desire to develop a technical specialism
  • Ability and willingness to keep up to date technically
  • An appreciation of and/or understanding of ethical/risk issues within a client service environment
  • Strong people skills for engaging with our clients and team members
  • Excellent communication and project management skills

KPMG’s Strategy & Performance Transformation practice is looking for exceptional candidates for an Assistant Manager role, with experience in Industrial Markets and Defence (IM&D) across one or more of our core propositions: Enterprise-wide Transformation, Growth Strategy, Cost and Operational Strategy, and Commercial and Operational Due Diligence.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise effectively with clients while working on engagements and act as an 'ambassador' for KPMG
  • Design and run small projects and / or large, complex workstreams with limited oversight
  • Product client-ready deliverables that exceed expectations and require limited review
  • Develop solutions to complex problems and challenge the thinking of more senior colleagues and clients

The Person

Skills and Experience

Successful applicants will demonstrate the following:

 

  • Experience working in a leading strategy house, Big 4 firm, public sector organisation or strategy / development team in industry
  • Strong foundational understanding of the value drivers within IM&D
  • Experience of leading project workstreams and take responsibility for small teams
  • Prior involvement in business development activity and ability to contribute to thought leadership and knowledge management initiatives
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with team members and broader (internal and external) stakeholders
