Why Audit Data & Analytics?

Join us on this programme and as a Data & Analytics degree apprentice, you’ll work towards a BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions qualification, providing you with the knowledge and skills to be an effective Audit analyst.

You’ll be part of the Clara Analytics team, where you will work within our Data & Analytics, Product & Innovation and/or Technology capabilities. Our team brings together our deep industry knowledge with leading analytics expertise to harness the power of data; working with the largest global organisations to automate the Audit process. Our work has the power to transform the businesses we work with, providing them with deep insights which can help them to increase their revenue, reduce costs and manage emerging risks and future opportunities.

From the start, you'll be working on complex projects alongside some of the brightest minds in business and benefit from learning every day. As part of your qualification and support available to you, you’ll learn how to understand object-oriented programming as a concept, design and build databases, understand common system vulnerabilities, and implement predictive modelling. The qualification is closely aligned to the work we deliver and there will be opportunities to get involved in projects that ensures KPMG’s analytics capability remains market leading on a global scale.

The work is challenging and rewarding, especially during busier periods – and throughout the programme you’ll have the support of your senior leaders and the broader Audit community, enabling you to be at your best.

Our firm’s hybrid working model balances the flexibility of working from home with the importance of collaborating and learning in offices or at Audited entities.. We trust our people to be where our clients need them to be, with our client-facing colleagues working together in person as often as needed. You’ll be empowered by the technology that supports us to work flexibly and our collaborative offices spaces, building friendships and shared experiences, innovating and learning together. Some travel is likely for audit work and because the work is seasonal, you should expect there to be busy times of the year.
