In the Business Support Group (BSG), you'll be joining a team that provides executive assistant and administrative services to support our client-facing teams.

Our teams support our strategic ambition by delivering some of the Firm's largest, most complex, often multi-year internal transformation programmes, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. We also manage the strategy, performance and operations of KPMG Business Services, including governance, workforce planning, commercial performance, KPI tracking and talent strategy.

Our Marketing teams bring together world-class capabilities to design, build and deliver marketing programmes, while our Communications teams manage our relationships with the media and help communicate the firm's strategy and objectives. In Stakeholder Engagement, we build relationships with politicians, civil servants and other political stakeholders to ensure the firm maintains a trusting dialogue on key issues. Our Sustainability and Corporate responsibility teams drive the firm's shift towards a more sustainable future, helping to minimise our impact on the environment and developing initiatives to increase social mobility, promote life-long learning and improve numeracy.

The Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMA) team is one of three KPMG regions, alongside Americas and Asia-Pacific. It brings together more than 100 countries spanning from the Caribbean in the West to the far corners of Russia in the East. The regional teams drive connectivity and alignment in areas such as; commercial pursuits, governance, law and people matters. EMA colleagues work in Regional Tax, Audit or Advisory teams on client tenders and international projects; or they support functions such as People, Communications or Risk.

In Facilities, we're responsible for providing the high quality, inspirational premises and services it takes to create a safe, efficient, innovative and cost-effective business environment. We're a collaborative team, working closely with colleagues throughout the firm as well as with a range of third-party suppliers.
Our opportunities span a wide variety of roles and specialisms, including Workplace, Property, Environmental Safety and Security. As well as managing the firm’s day-to-day facilities operations, we also oversee the acquisition and disposal of property across our UK portfolio. The scale of that portfolio makes our team a fantastic place to hone your skills – the smallest of our offices is home to 50 people; the largest, 9,000. We'll support your development every step of the way, including providing support for relevant professional qualifications.
With a turnover of c£3 billion and a payroll covering over 16,000 partners and colleagues across the UK, our Finance & Commercial team is responsible for a broad spectrum of work. We're involved in everything from closely supporting our business strategy and capability teams through to financial control and tightly managing critical business functions like employee payroll, expenses, accounts payable and billing. Our experienced team understands major clients’ bid processes and decision making processes. The team facilitates client commercial negotiations, providing advice on positioning fees, pricing strategies and working with client procurement teams, resolving client commercial disputes.

With a third-party spend in excess of £400m and thousands of suppliers, our Procurement team has a significant role to play in our firm’s success. Our focus is on helping our client teams and key business areas to optimise their supplier relationships. To ensure we always get the best possible value, our procurement experts draw on their understanding of our supply markets as well as the strategic drivers and business objectives of our internal clients and consider how we can balance risk.
As part of our fast-paced Procurement team, you'll be encouraged to apply innovative and creative approaches. You'll be able to get involved in a wide variety of procurement work across a range of areas, including HR, Professional Services, Travel, Marketing, Facilities and IT Services. You might also support some of our transformational change projects. Across everything you do, you'll look for ways to deliver tangible value for money, working with our Supplier Management Centre of Excellence and as part of our dedicated Sustainable Procurement programme. Along the way, you'll have the development opportunities you need to hone your negotiation and relationship-building skills, and your understanding of contractual legal terms.
Our teams ensure the Firm is acting within its agreed risk appetite and that it is achieving its strategic outcomes in relation to meeting or exceeding all relevant legal, financial, regulatory, ethics and independence and compliance requirements; improving relationships and building trust with regulators, clients, stakeholders; and effectively monitoring and addressing threats and challenges to the Firm's brand and reputation.
