KPMG Business Services: Communications
The Communications team are the eyes and ears of KPMG in the UK. Both internal and external communications work closely together to make sure messaging is consistent and work proactively to defend and broadcast KPMG’s reputation and values.
Working in communications is one of the few roles which gives you oversight of the firm as a whole, working with the Chairman, Managing Partner, Vice Chair and, more broadly, the Executive Committee and Partners to deliver firm-wide and local communication and engagement initiatives, which are aligned to our vision and strategy. It is the department’s responsibility to ensure the firm’s values are well understood externally and internally; supporting the firm’s strategy and revenue growth goals and managing reputation crises with clear messaging.
The work is a varied mix of proactive and reactive, so those who flourish here have the ability to communicate in a variety of styles through a number of different mediums. We have different teams to suit expert influencers and communicators of all specialisms.
In the Communications department you will promote and protect the firm’s reputation, brand and voice across all our external communications output.
In Media Relations you will work with both internal and external stakeholders to produce thought leadership material, reports and expert opinion which will be published in national, broadcast, regional or online media.
In the Internal Communications team you will work with individuals throughout the firm, from leadership to graduates, to produce content which will be distributed throughout the various internal communications channels throughout the UK.
