Question: Once I select a programme can I choose to change?

No - we believe all programmes at KPMG are of equal value and therefore once you have opted for a programme this will be the one you pursue. Therefore, it is especially important you investigate what you want to gain throughout your career at KPMG and how the qualifications you'll work towards fit within this. We also operate a one application per intake year policy, and will not consider multiple applications from candidates.

Question: What happens if I fail my exams?

KPMG values its people. We give our students the best support available prior to the exams and so our exam failure rate is low. However, if you do fail on your first attempt you are given the opportunity to re-sit, and a review is done to establish why this has happened. Each student is treated as an individual and given the support to move forward. In a small number of cases students may see their employment contract end if they fail their exams outside of the targets set by KPMG. We consider our terms on resits to be more generous than those across most professional services firms. That's why it is so important to choose an employer like KPMG who invests in getting you through your exams and provides proactive, tailored support to help you achieve success.

Question: I’ve seen a website offering assistance through your recruitment process, should I pursue this?

We are aware that there are providers selling guidance and assistance on how to complete our assessments. We have no relationship with, and do not endorse, any of those providers. On this website you'll find access to hints and tips on our recruitment process, opportunities to sign up to events to find out more and talk to our recruiters. We encourage applicants to use these channels available. Please also be advised that we conduct periodic reviews of applications to identify any fraudulent candidates or activity and there are elements of our online assessments that are retested.
