The Cyber Response & Recovery Assistant Manager role will be working in the Cyber Response Services (CRS) Team within our Advisory practice, reporting directly to the cyber response leadership. Cyber security is one of the areas which KPMG has identified for tremendous investment and growth. Our clients face a challenging cyber threat and look to us to help them understand and respond to that threat.

This is a hands-on role, and an opportunity to join a high performing team that works with a wide variety of clients, as KPMG are one of just nine tier 1 responders in the UK. As such, you will gain a huge amount of experience in a short space of time and will also have the opportunity to be put through a range of security certifications.

The Cyber Response & Recovery Manager role will sit within the Cyber Response Services team in KPMG’s Cyber Advisory practice, reporting into the cyber response leadership team. Cyber security is one of the areas KPMG has identified for significant investment and growth. Our clients continue to face increasingly destructive cyber threats, particularly ransomware, destructive malware, business email compromise, Active Directory compromise, cloud compromise and advanced network intrusions. In these situations, clients look to KPMG not only to investigate and contain the incident, but also to help them recover securely, rebuild critical services, reduce the risk of reinfection and improve their long-term resilience.

This is a hands-on cyber response and recovery manager role, focused on supporting clients through the most operationally critical phase of a cyber incident: restoring business services safely and securely. The role will work closely with incident response leads, forensic teams, legal advisers, crisis management teams, technology teams and client executives to convert incident findings into practical remediation, rebuild and recovery actions.

The Cyber and Digital Health Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and managing complex cyber security and digital trust engagements across the UK healthcare market, with a particular focus on the NHS and wider health and social care ecosystem. The successful candidate will bring relevant experience in delivering broad cyber advisory services, including DSPT-CAF readiness and remediation, cyber strategy, governance, risk and assurance, and programmes that enable frontline productivity through secure, resilient and effective use of technology.

As an Assistant Manager within KPMG's Cyber and Digital Health team, you will help healthcare organisations strengthen cyber resilience, meet evolving regulatory expectations and deliver secure technology-enabled transformation. You will lead workstreams across complex healthcare cyber engagements, supporting clients to assess and improve cyber capability, respond to DSPT-CAF requirements, strengthen governance and risk management, and embed cyber resilience across digital health programmes.
