We are seeking talented Senior Managers with experience in people centric large scale Organisation Transformation who bring experience, insight, and energy to drive complex change programmes- ranging from target Operating Model Transformation programmes Change – including ERP and digital led change, Global Business Services/Shared Services transformations, Customer, Strategy led change, and cost reduction programmes. This role will sit within our People Centric Transformation capability. 


We are specifically looking for individuals who have the end to end breadth of culture and change management, organisation design/redesign, and people transition planning to help our trusted clients realise their business outcomes. Individuals must have experience of end to end programmes - starting with change strategy development, leadership alignment, change planning, organisation design, through to full change implementation (people transition, culture and behaviour change, learning). 


We are looking for a leader and influencer in this space who can help grow our people led change practice at KPMG.  This role will be critical to design, deliver and successfully deliver complex people change programmes and support diverse client bases that operate globally, across an enterprise and/or multiple functions (front, middle and back-office) and sectors.

Head of Transformation & Group Corporate Services Communications

With the creation of Group Corporate Services (GCS) on 1 October 2025, and all firmwide transformational change agreed and led from within it, we are augmenting the Internal Communication leadership team with a critical new role.

The Head of Transformation & Group Corporate Services (T&GCS) Communications will lead a team that is focused on shaping and delivering transformational change to the firm, while also business partnering the GCS function, to build confidence, trust and pride in the leadership and strategy of this part of the firm.

As well as playing a key role in the embedding and adoption of strategic change and transformation programmes across KPMG, this senior position will work closely with the other IC Leadership Team members to understand the pipeline of change for the firm, be that GCS or Capability led, and create and oversee a flexible resourcing model to deliver change well.

They are accountable for the development, planning and delivery of key transformation and change communications projects in support of our transformation agenda; and high-profile campaigns and messages required to land change successfully and for the long term for the firm.

The role holder is expected to build comprehensive stakeholder networks across the business and lead the team in the delivery of complex messaging and collateral across KPMG’s mix of channels, providing strategic advice, counsel and best practice in the generation and use of different content to deliver sustainable change.

They have end to end responsibility for all aspects of the T&GCS Team, from quality assurance through to performance management and development. They will work with the Heads of Internal Change and Learning leads to land change holistically for our colleagues.

They are regularly required to advise senior leadership on Transformation and BAU comms activity, providing challenge, education and advice.

The successful candidate will have UK Corporate Tax Compliance experience, be able to build strong relationships and provide excellent client service. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a portfolio of clients and take responsibility for ensuring the tax computations are prepared to a high standard, on a timely basis and finalised and submitted to HMRC within agreed deadlines.
  • Act as one of the main points of contact on your portfolio of clients on day-to-day tax matters, working with Managers and Senior Managers.
  • Oversee the work of junior colleagues, providing coaching and technical guidance as part of the overall review process.
  • Ensuring that clients are kept up to date on developments within Corporate Tax that may be relevant for their businesses.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, working with Managers to prepare technical analysis and involve specialists as appropriate to prepare or review analysis.
  • Respond to client requests for ad hoc technical advice and working with KPMG specialist teams to deliver an excellent and co-ordinated service to the client.
  • Build and develop positive constructive relationships within your team and across your client base.
  • Opportunities to support clients with their group reporting needs and assist with tax audit work.
  • Coaching, career management and technical support for junior team members.
  • Follow KPMG best practice and policy.

 

Knowledge and Experience:

  • UK Corporation Tax experience including reviewing computations and returns and acting as a client liaison through the compliance process.
  • Experience/awareness of specific technical areas including complex capital versus revenue treatment; pension scheme and share scheme adjustments; group relief; basic transfer pricing; tax accounting for single entities and groups; controlled foreign companies and corporate interest restriction.
  • Ability to analyse problems, identify core issues and demonstrate curiosity around new ideas approaches and perspectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Take personal responsibility and accountability for own work.
  • Sustain a high level of drive, enthusiasm and a positive attitude that translates across the team.
  • Excellent teamwork and organisational skills, including monitoring timetables and budgets.
  • Display an inclusive, collaborative approach and operates in a respectful manner with colleagues, clients and the wider community.
