We are looking for talented and driven Equity Reward specialists to work in our team and who are excited by the opportunity to be a key part of an exciting growth journey.   Clients will range from working with a diverse range of privately owned business (ranging from owner-managed to private equity), as well as listed businesses.  The successful applicant will want to be involved in business development activities, including client proposals, internal and external presentations and writing material on technical and other matters. As a Qualified Actuarial Consultant at KPMG you take a lead delivery role, managing small teams of advisors and auditors to a wide range of general insurance companies, in the Retail and Commercial sectors, including within Lloyd’s and the London Market. The entities that KPMG work with range from FTSE100 and global (re)insurers to smaller specialist insurers. You get the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from Solvency II support (eg IMV and Capital modelling support) to Financial Transformation projects to supporting our Deals team in large fast moving transactions. For our audit work we review clients’ reserving and capital assessments and forming their own independent assessments – this is the process we use widely when we provide specialist support on audits. Our practitioners have benefited by improving the breadth of their knowledge of reserving and getting exposure to and engagement with senior leadership within the insurance industry.

In this role you will be leading project teams in the delivery of client engagements and providing technical input to a number of projects and drafting reports and presentations.

KPMG has one of the leading Indirect Tax practices in the UK. We work as a national practice providing advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Green taxes) to a broad range of business sectors including large multi-nationals, household name retailers and public sector organisations. The Indirect Tax practice is a fast-growing and dynamic business, currently with 13 partners and approximately 220 professional staff in the UK.

We have a significant growth plan over the next three years and in order to support this we are looking to recruit motivated individuals who are seeking a real challenge, to build on our successes to date and help us achieve our growth targets.

This Manager role is Financial Services focussed. KPMG has one of the largest Financial Services Indirect Tax departments, advising banking, insurance, investment management, asset backed finance, real estate and private equity clients across a broad range of issues.

The Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality of delivery at this specialist level and will be actively involved in managing the performance of junior colleagues within the team.
