Role

 We are looking for a Global Mobility Services (GMS) Manager to work in our People Taxes team in London.

Role and Responsibilities 

• Manage the day to day global coordination and/or UK service delivery of client engagements (dependent on the client portfolio), supported by a junior engagement team.
• Manage the UK tax compliance and work closely with the KPMG Centre of Excellence to deliver on all aspects of assignee compliance.
• Be involved in all aspects of cross border advisory - covering tax, social security, process, policy and efficiencies, and project manage advisory projects carried out for clients. Closely collaborate with subject matter experts within International Social Security, Employment Tax, GMS Technology, Reward, Immigration and the network of KPMG Member Firms to deliver on cross-border and multidisciplinary projects.
• Provide UK tax technical analysis and advice to clients.
• Engage with clients on current global mobility and UK tax developments.
• Support Engagement Leaders with VIP assignee services, including carrying out arrival/departure briefings for senior assignees.
• Develop, maintain and lead strong client relationships.
• Manage engagement finances with junior support.
• Manage and coach junior staff.

Our team is a Global Centre of Excellence focused on serving the world's leading Treasury functions with their most complex business challenges. The team offer deep treasury expertise in financial products and markets, risk management, systems and technology, governance, valuation and accounting. We work closely with other high impact functions within KPMG such as Audit, Risk Consulting and Management Consulting to provide a wide range of treasury advisory services.

As a Manager, you will liaise directly with your clients responding to a range of technical queries, drawing both on your own expertise and identifying when additional input is required from more senior colleagues. Your role will also include business development activities, contributing to the team’s growth and success. You will lead teams and supervise the work of junior staff. You will also have performance management responsibilities for a small number of employees.
