HR M&A was set up as part of the Integration & Separation (I&S) team in Deal Advisory, which has been growing year on year and seen by our clients as a market leader. We have worked on some of the largest and most high-profile client engagements in the deals space, including multi-billion spins, integration of global mega mergers, disposals of non-core assets for large multinationals. We have launched a market differentiating digital engagement platform for M&A as well as a campaign focused on ‘the Human Side of Deals’, and we continue to drive digital innovation.

The Deal Execution Advisory Team

KPMG's Deal Execution Advisory Team is a growing and dynamic team. We work with both vendors and acquirers on mergers, acquisitions, divestments, exits and joint ventures, both pre and post-deal.

The team offers four key proposition areas:

Separation: Supporting vendors to plan and deliver a credible, discrete standalone entity to the Buyer with value preserved and business continuity in place from Day 1, including supporting the definition and implementation of transitional service agreements.

Integration: Pre and post deal integration design, planning and implementation to integrate the target business into the Buyer’s organisation whilst mitigating risk and enhancing value.

Synergies: Understanding the potential benefits and costs generated through a proposed transaction, and the associated plans, interdependencies, risks and issues for the delivery of base and stretch case targets.

The role of the SAP S/4 HANA Finance Enterprise Architect is to develop the UK Firm’s technology strategy for Finance and Engagement Management domain and translate this into a roadmap that determines our investment priorities and transformation portfolio. The technology strategy needs to promote a seamless, end-to-end customer and employee experience by enabling the efficient creation and modification of effective and reusable technology components. In particular, the strategy should promote the use of modern, Cloud-based technologies; support typical Finance use cases; challenge the business strategy based on emerging and future technology trends; and establish a catalogue that supports the reuse of new technology components, whilst targeting legacy applications and technology for decommissioning. Summary of role purpose
Investigations and Compliance (I&C) is part of KPMG’s Forensic practice.  We help clients with their biggest and most challenging misconduct and integrity matters.  Our work helps clients respond to regulatory enquiries, reduce reputational risk and prevent or reduce commercial loss by helping them to investigate and mitigate risks including fraud and misconduct, bribery and corruption, financial crime and much more.
As a result of an exciting and increasing pipeline of fraud analytics work, we are looking for a Manager to help coordinate the strategic direction of a team deploying analytics (including fraud analytics routines and GenAI capabilities) over large complex financial and other datasets, both structured and unstructured.

Description of the role
The role will involve leading a team deploying forensic analytics (including testing routines across structured data and LLM-enabled unstructured, structured and open-source data analysis) over large datasets to help our clients solve their most complex fraud, misconduct and integrity matters.

This role requires a deep understanding of both structured and unstructured data analytics techniques, coupled with strong leadership and communication skills.  The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative analytical solutions leveraging a wide range of techniques, including through the use of SQL, Python, cloud computing and Generative AI (GenAI).

You should expect to work on a variety of project-based work over a cross section of forensic work types, industries and geographies. Day to day activities will vary depending on the type and circumstances of each project.
