Now, we're looking for an exceptional Director to join our Strategic Advisory Services (SAS) team within IAG. This isn't just a role; it's a unique opportunity to take an influential leadership position within a growing and ambitious team that's set to redefine our market position in the UK.

This exciting role is within our London Region Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance team, based in our Canary Wharf office. 

Our clients include UK headquartered businesses and inbound groups across a range of sectors. 

Our work in the tax advisory space includes supporting clients with business and fiscal change. This can include advising on new jurisdiction entry, the development of new business areas, business reorganisations, tax authority enquiries, pre/post transaction reorganisations, refinancing, cash repatriation, interest deductibility and the impact global fiscal change (e.g. BEPS Pillar 2).

We work as a hybrid team where we get together in the office or at client sites at least twice a week to collaborate and learn together, with flexibility over how you spend the rest of your time. 

Our Transaction Services practice comprises approximately 500 people across the UK, organised to align to KPMG’s market orientated structure, and is at the heart of the Firm's agenda to increase its penetration of boardrooms and work with clients across the economic and transaction cycle. Our team works closely with colleagues across Deal Advisory as well as Tax, Audit and other Advisory teams; it is a multi-disciplinary and international environment that sits right at the heart of our One Firm agenda. We are recruiting Managers in our Private Equity, Financial Services, Corporates and Capital Markets teams across the UK to support the growth of our TS business.

Our team works with clients from owner managed business, to large multinational organisations, and we are looking for an Assistant Manager with a strong financial, accounting and tax background to assist clients across a suite of innovation advisory services including R&D tax Credits, Patent Box, R&D Allowances, Grants and Innovation Advisory services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an Honour/ Post Graduate Degree in finance, accounting and tax or other related discipline that either has industry financial experience or working knowledge of the R&D tax legislation.

In the UK, the relationships we have with our audited entities are subject to significant and complex independence restrictions. It is critical for the firm to be able to navigate these restrictions accurately and efficiently to continue to build trust with our audited entities and clients. This is an area that goes right to the heart of KPMG’s quality agenda. 

In this interesting and challenging environment, we are looking to recruit a Senior Manager, in a permanent role, to work with a team of specialists who will be responsible for providing first-line independence support to UK audit teams, including non-audit service permissibility assessments, clearance reviews for audit targets and Sentinel tree accuracy. The team will be expected to provide high-quality advice and support to engagement teams.
