Lead high-impact defined benefit pensions advisory work as a Senior Manager within KPMG’s growing Pensions Advisory team. You’ll shape advice on journey planning, funding, risk management, endgame options and governance, while building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders. The role offers scope to influence propositions, support sustainable growth and improve delivery through approved technology and stronger data insight. You’ll also develop inclusive teams through coaching, technical training and meaningful career conversations, with opportunities based in London, Manchester, Birmingham or Bristol.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Manager to join our team, who will be responsible for working closely with colleagues in defined benefit pensions. Specific areas of focus, but not exhaustive, will include

• Journey planning and risk management, aiming for self-sufficiency or buy out, and endgame options including use of surplus

• Funding advice to sponsors and advice on compliance with DB funding code

• Advice on contingent funding options and work on special purpose vehicles

• Pensions due diligence on mergers and acquisitions

• Provision of member education and communication

• Advice on benefit change, benefit design and implementation

• Advice on good governance and compliance
