Making the Difference Starts Here - Malcolm’s Story

When Malcolm joined KPMG as an Advisory Apprentice, he was excited to start a career where learning never stops. “I wanted a role where I could grow and make a real difference,” he says. Throughout his Apprenticeship, he’s embraced opportunities to learn, connect, and contribute, living our values of inclusion and collaboration every step of the way.  

Today, Malcolm works on a variety of engagements, from transaction monitoring, to reviewing anti-money laundering and fraud cases to help clients stay compliant and protect their businesses. “It’s rewarding to know the work we do makes a real impact,” he shares. In previous projects, he’s helped streamline processes for clients, reducing delays and improving efficiency. 

Outside of his day-to-day role, Malcolm stays active in KPMG’s networks and volunteering initiatives - returning to schools to talk about apprenticeships, representing KPMG at career fairs, and taking part in community projects. “It’s about learning every day and knowing you have people around you who want you to succeed."

For Malcolm, “Make the Difference” means being the change you want to see. “Every time I help someone or contribute to something that inspires others, I know I’m making an impact,” he says. His journey shows that success at KPMG is about growth, inclusion, and making a real difference - together.
