The CASS Audit Department supports the delivery of CASS assurance reports across the whole of FS audit within KPMG including our Banking and Asset Management Audit practice. KPMG has a proven track record in this area, and we have significant growth plans given the opportunities arising from increasing regulatory scrutiny, supervision and demand for external assurance.

With a fixed book of work and a complex pattern of regulation and accreditation requirements, it is critical that the Audit Resourcing Associate [CLR/FS/KPE] is able to optimise the resourcing within their department (either being managed independently by the Audit Resourcing Associate or supporting a department managed by an Audit Resourcing Advisor).  The appropriate allocation of resources to engagements has a significant impact to quality, our financial results and our people experience all of which are key pillars of our strategy.

The Audit Resourcing Compliance Manager will support the Head of Talent Deployment - Audit on multiple projects, providing innovative solutions to complex problems in the SoQM (System of Quality Management) space, and executing them to meet member firm’s Quality standards. Audit is undergoing significant transformation with the EMpowered project and continued embedding of SoQM, impacting resourcing significantly. The position requires a good understanding of SoQM and its implications for resourcing, as well as strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

A key focus for KPMG’s GCT team is to help multinational groups and financial services clients manage their global tax compliance, reporting and statutory accounting obligations, through outsourcing, co-sourcing, transformation and technology. The Tax Technical team is a critical enabler to all tax activities within GCT and provides expertise into KPMG’s complex tax audits.  Audit quality is of paramount importance and to do this efficiently, we maintain a dedicated and enthusiastic team of tax specialists.  We are also the engine room of the tax reporting, compliance, governance and low-level advisory work undertaken by the wider GCT team – servicing large domestic compliance clients as well as our Global Compliance clients.
