Within the Infrastructure Advisory Group are a team full of subject matter experts, but that’s not all. We are responsible for providing best in class support on everything from: finance, economics, construction, engineering, QS, forensic assurance, asset management, PMO, strategy, regulatory work and project finance.

Power & Utilities (P&U) is the largest business area of the IAG and encompasses work for major clients in the sector, including all UK utilities as well as some of the largest energy and water companies in Europe and beyond. We provide in-depth strategic and technical advice on strategy and business planning and analysis, corporate finance and corporate financial management, regulatory policy, cost assessment and benchmarking as well as in other areas to help our clients create value for both shareholders and customers. Our work combines elements of policy, finance, strategy and economics to assist our clients in structuring investments, securing financing, supporting regulatory regimes for the benefit of customers as well as maximising shareholder value. We are widely recognised by many industry stakeholders as market leaders influencing the future of the utilities sector.

This area continues to grow and we are looking for a high quality candidate to support our Power & Utilities business with a particular focus on giving strategic advice to clients in relation to the evolving regulation and policy framework affecting the energy networks.

The Role

• Lead the design and delivery of a Supply Chain workstream on a large SAP S/4HANA project
• Use Business skills along with knowledge of SAP Supply Chain workstream to design and implement complex solutions for customers and between other workstreams
• Understand client supply chain requirements and integration points with other functional areas, to optimise the processes and maximise the benefits of SAP
• Design and implement process improvements by going through the project cycle (design, build, test, training, go-live, post go-live support)
• Advise on technical integration of the SAP application with other customer and 3rd party tools/applications within Supply Chain
• Lead and Support business development and sales initiatives including bid and proposal support/presenting with our SAP clients
• Monitor SAP and Industry trends including awareness of SAP Roadmap and enhancements

The Person

SAP Supply Chain functional expertise in at least one of the following solution areas:

• • SAP Integrated Business Planning
  • SAP PP/DS
  • SAP Digital manufacturing cloud (DMC)
  • SAP ME/PEO
  • SAP extended Warehouse Management
  • SAP Enterprise Asset Management/PM/MRO
  • SAP Order Management & Fulfilment/AATP/Logistics Execution
  • SAP Product Lifecycle Management
  • SAP Transport Management
• Strong functional understanding of SAP S/4 HANA Supply Chain process area and how they integrate with other business functions
• Advise on technical integrations of SAP applications with other client and 3rd party tools/applications in the Supply Chain process area
• SAP system design, build and deployment experience – 4 full lifecycle implementations preferred
• Experience of SAP in Manufacturing industries, Consumer Packaging Goods, Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas, or Retail
•  Experience of facilitating a design workshop and then translating the requirements into design
• Ability to build strong client relationships based on subject matter expertise and quality of delivery
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues, and synthesize large volume of information
• Strong interpersonal, team building, organisational and motivational skills
• Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with varying team members 
• Self-starter attitude and ability to work well within ambiguity

• Support business development and sales initiatives including bid and proposal support with our SAP clients (comfortable in presenting to C-Suite Stakeholders)
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and supporting multiple activities such as mentoring and capability knowledge transfer to enhance the practice.
• Possess working knowledge of digital trends in Supply Chain (e.g., ESG, Industry 4.0, SCM Digital Solutions that integrate with SAP)
• Team Lead Experience (on/offshore)
