The Opportunity:

We are looking for someone with a strong track record in Private Client tax who is eager to contribute to our continued growth. You will be a key part of the team delivering exceptional client service and actively participating in business development by bringing innovative offerings to the market.

The Tax Investigations team sits within the KPMG Private Client tax team, a fast-growing and integral part of the wider KPMG tax practice. In order to support further growth we are looking to appoint a Senior Manager to our Investigations Team.

We are looking for excellent candidates with a proven track record in this area who are seeking a dynamic and supportive working environment to help deliver quality advice to a varied portfolio of clients as well as support the growth of the business.

Our client base includes a portfolio of high net worth clients, entrepreneurs, high profile sports people and entertainers, shareholders and international individuals. You would be expected to lead the delivery of quality advice to our clients on tax dispute matters, lead on HMRC enquiry and disclosure projects and also provide wider disputes specialist knowledge to other KPMG teams in the firm including working with our tax litigation team.

A key focus for KPMG’s GCT team is to help multinational groups and financial services clients manage their global tax compliance, reporting and statutory accounting obligations, through outsourcing, co-sourcing, transformation and technology. Our Corporate Tax Compliance business is made up of a dedicated and enthusiastic team of Corporate Tax Compliance specialists working with our cutting-edge technology platform and our advisory teams to provide a first-class service to our diverse client base which includes global and large domestic compliance clients with complex and interesting tax profiles. We are growing quickly, so it’s an exciting time to join the team.

We are now looking for a talented individual at Senior Manager level. The successful candidate will have deep technical knowledge and thrive in a dynamic and challenging working environment to ensure excellent client service, and will be supported by a strong and ambitious leadership team.

As a US/UK tax manager, you will be required to manage all aspects of the tax compliance process and the wider client relationship management.  You will be required to lead and assist on advisory projects involving various tax and residency queries whilst developing and maintaining client relationships, under the support of a senior manager and/or director.

Aside from the technical role, you will be involved in the continuing building and development of a new US tax team within a Big 4 firm and expected to have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and constructively at a variety of levels with clients, their other professional advisors and your colleagues.
