Join Deal Advisory Tax as a Manager and help corporate and financial investors understand, manage and optimise tax considerations across acquisitions, disposals, refinancings and other complex transactions. You will work on UK and cross-border deals ranging from £10 million to more than £10 billion, collaborating with clients, legal advisers and specialists across KPMG. Your contribution will combine technical tax advice, commercial analysis, project leadership and relationship management to support sound decisions throughout the investment cycle. KPMG has one of the leading Indirect Tax practices in the UK. We work as a national practice providing advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Green taxes) to a broad range of business sectors including large multi-nationals, household name retailers and public sector organisations. The Indirect Tax practice is a fast-growing and dynamic business, currently with 20 partners and more than 200 professional staff in the UK.

This Manager role will be within our North Indirect Tax team. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality of delivery at this specialist level and will be actively involved in managing the performance of junior colleagues within the team.

We are looking for managers to join our Energy, Natural Resources (ENR) and Infrastructure team to support the continued growth of our TAS business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing small and medium-sized financial due diligence engagements, as well as leading key aspects of larger transactions and carve-outs across Energy and Infrastructure sectors. Relevant experience should include industries such as oil & gas, chemicals, regulated utilities, renewables, infrastructure assets, transportation, and data centres.  

The role offers the opportunity to work with market-leading transaction advisory professionals across the ENR and Infrastructure sectors, with a clearly defined progression path. The successful candidate will be supported in advancing to the next grade upon demonstrating the ability to take full ownership of large and complex engagements, together with the technical expertise, leadership skills, sector knowledge and behaviours required at that level.
