Our team works with clients from owner managed business, to large multinational organisations, and we are looking for a Senior Manager with a strong financial, accounting and tax background to assist clients across as suite of innovation advisory services including R&D tax Credits, Patent Box, R&D Allowances, Grants and Innovation Advisory services.

The KPMG financial services tax team is a fast-growing part of the KPMG tax practice. We are looking for  excellent candidates who are seeking a dynamic and challenging working environment within a strong supportive leadership team.  

As a result of growth in our business, we have a number of roles across our Financial Services Operational Taxes team, which has a diverse client base spanning the FS sector - providing services to banks, custodians, brokers,

asset managers, alternative investors, wealth and hedge asset managers and global institutional investors such as pension funds and sovereign wealth funds.  

The Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG) at KPMG UK (ca. 400 FTEs) provide in-depth advice on strategic, financial, regulatory and commercial issues driving investments in infrastructure across Power & Utilities, Transport, Social Infrastructure, Government, Major Projects, in the UK and Europe. Our work includes market and policy design, economic and regulatory analysis, deal structuring and execution, as well as strategic and transaction advice to enable private and public capital to fund infrastructure. We work closely with other functions within KPMG to advise clients on due diligence, transactions and valuations.

Power & Utilities (P&U), led by Dr Matt Firla-Cuchra, counts c85 FTEs is the largest business area of IAG and encompasses work for major clients in the sector, including all UK utilities as well as some of the largest energy and water companies in Europe and beyond. We provide in-depth strategy, market, regulatory, cost assessment, corporate finance, transaction and energy transition advice to players and investors in the utilities sector. Our work combines elements of policy, finance, strategy and economics to assist our clients in structuring investments, securing financing, supporting regulatory regimes for the benefit of customers as well as maximising shareholder value. Our team works with clients from owner managed business, to large multinational organisations, and we are looking for an Assistant Manager with a strong financial, accounting and tax background to assist clients across a suite of innovation advisory services including R&D tax Credits, Patent Box, R&D Allowances, Grants and Innovation Advisory services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an Honour/ Post Graduate Degree in finance, accounting and tax or other related discipline that either has industry financial experience or working knowledge of the R&D tax legislation.

• A strong delivery track record in Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close implementations (Oracle FCC) who can leverage business and technology-based solutions to deliver outcomes for our clients.
• System design and delivery, including release management, integration management, data migration strategy and management.
• Prior consulting experience on delivery financial consolidation and close processes for customer across different industries is a preferred requirement
• An understanding of Financial Services Organisation’s Target Operating Model, Process & Controls, Organisation Design, Change Management and Business Readiness is needed.
