  • Own the operational technology and industrial control systems service portfolio, setting appropriate technical standards, governance and delivery measures for consistent global deployment.
  • Take AI-enabled capabilities from concept and technical validation through to secure, repeatable and commercially viable client services.
  • Develop evidence-based business cases for new capabilities, balancing client demand, technical feasibility, delivery risk and commercial value.
  • Originate opportunities and lead bids, proposals and senior client presentations that expand the practice’s market presence.
  • Act as technical design lead for complex client engagements, managing scope, quality and the translation of cyber security concepts into clear business outcomes.
  • Build productive relationships across KPMG sectors, cyber security teams, technology alliances, industry bodies, academia, government and data partners.
  • Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team of operational technology security specialists, artificial intelligence engineers and technical delivery managers.

Experience and skills needed

  • Demonstrable technical expertise in Cyber OT, ICS and MDR , applied to protecting physical or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Experience designing, securing, managing risk for and deploying advanced AI or automated response solutions in client or production environments.
  • Evidence of developing cyber security products, platforms or propositions from early-stage concepts into validated and repeatable services.
  • Experience leading complex consulting proposals, bids or business development activity and converting technical capabilities into client value.
  • A strong record of advising senior stakeholders, leading complex client delivery and communicating technical risk in clear business terms.
  • Experience leading and developing cross-functional technical teams and coordinating multiple workstreams across innovation, commercial and delivery priorities.

Qualifications required

A PhD or master’s degree in artificial intelligence security engineering, computer science or an equivalent technical field focused on advanced machine learning security.
