The Powered Apps teams are communities of technology focussed professionals who work together to deliver KPMG Powered Enterprise though a standardised delivery model, which drives professional delivery to clients. The teams use their functional knowledge and experience (e.g. Finance, HR, Procurement), coupled with their expertise in the cloud applications (e.g. SuccessFactors, Workday, ServiceNow HRSD, Coupa) to lead and deliver client programmes, support pre-sales activities and develop improvement and extensions to Powered Enterprise

Summary of Role Purpose:

As our HR Technology practice continues to grow, we are actively seeking experienced professionals with a strong background in SuccessFactors implementations, particularly across Employee Central, Time Management and Employee Central Payroll (ECP).

This is a high-impact role within our team, combining business development and sales origination with hands-on client delivery. We are looking for individuals who bring deep solution expertise and configuration experience across Employee Central and ECP, and who are comfortable operating in both strategic and technical capacities.

You will play a key role in shaping and delivering complex HR transformations, leveraging SuccessFactors to drive value for our clients.

Description of the role:

The successful candidate will be expected to:

•    As an Engagement Manager, lead the delivery of high-quality Payroll & Time Management deployment projects
•    Provide specialist EC Payroll advice and work closely with the client leads to optimise processes and maximise the benefits of HR, through optimal solution design and configuration.
•    Advise clients on the transformational aspects of SuccessFactors & Payroll in relation to HR operating model, service delivery, and relevant HR process execution, e.g. Employee Central, Time Management & Payroll
•    Contribute to business development and sales initiatives including bid, proposal and contract / commercial negotiations with our SuccessFactors & Payroll clients
•    Lead the growth of the HR practice through sharing knowledge, developing thought leadership and supporting the career aspirations of team members
•    Advise on technical integration of the SuccessFactors application with other client and 3rd party applications such as payroll, benefits and finance systems
•    Advise on data migration and data integrity as part of the deployment engagement
•    Lead the implementation of Payroll programs for our clients
•    In addition to client delivery, this role will contribute to the strategic growth of our payroll capability, with a focus on Employee Central Payroll (ECP). You will help shape our go-to-market offerings, build reusable assets and accelerators, and support the development of internal capability through mentoring and knowledge sharing. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in expanding our ECP footprint and driving innovation in cloud-based payroll solutions.

Leadership & Management:  Expected to be a role model to the wider team by showcasing our values and principles, leading from the front and by example.  Assisting with goal development and coaching of staff to enable the growth of the junior management team within our practice.

Stakeholder Interaction & challenges:  Liaise with stakeholders across the People practice, cross collaborating with other teams, ensuring opportunities are shared and explored to maximise our offering to clients.

The person

Essential experience

Our candidates should have strong commercial acumen, strong desire to learn and
develop and be able to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
 
•    Proven experience successfully delivering Employee Central Payroll & Time programmes for 5+ end-to-end deliveries.
•    Advanced functional understanding of SuccessFactors, Payroll & S4 Hana HCM components, including configuration experience of Employee Central Payroll and other modules.
•    Experience in HR leading transformation projects, leading workstreams and managing teams, having held Delivery, Functional or Team Lead roles for 5+ end-to-end deliveries.
•    Demonstrable knowledge of HR processes, and how they map to all key SuccessFactors modules – hire to retire.  Additionally with newer HR processes/capabilities in skills and AI.
•    Excellent stakeholder management skills owned key client leadership relationships during previous deliveries.
•    Comfortable with agile and waterfall methods of working, including leverage SAP tools/accelerators to support deliveries.  Preferably with awareness and experience using non-SAP tools to streamline delivery. For example, configuration, data migration.
•    Excellent documentation, reporting and presentation skills
•    Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues, and synthesize large amounts of information
•    Experience in a functional and/or technical role in a business or systems delivery environment preferably in the HR sector, experienced solution architecting including all technical aspects – environments, data, integration, module phasing, reporting/analytics cutover and go-live planning.
•    Experience producing project deliverables (business requirements, functional specs, configuration document, process flows, use cases, requirements traceability matrices etc.)
•    Ability to effectively transfer knowledge and flex the approach according to the situation
•    Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and experience 
•    Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with varying team members
•    Experience as a configuration expert and/or project manager of enterprise software deployments
•    Travel required (up to 80%)
