Role Purpose
The Head of Product Delivery – Integrated Value Chain is accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery of SAP S/4HANA–centric ERP products across KPMG UK. The role provides senior technical delivery leadership across SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and enterprise integration platforms, ensuring solutions are delivered securely, at scale, and in alignment with clean‑core principles.
The role owns delivery from solution design through build, test and deployment, with clear accountability for ERP extensibility, integration integrity, and operational readiness across the integrated value chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Own delivery strategy and roadmap for ERP platform across the Integrated Value Chain.
- Lead multi‑disciplinary delivery teams spanning product, SAP functional, ABAP, BTP engineering, integration layer and testing.
- Lead delivery of SAP BTP‑based extensions and enhancements, ensuring a strong clean‑core and side‑by‑side extension approach.
- Ensure custom functionality is delivered through side‑by‑side BTP applications and services, minimising custom code within the S/4HANA core.
- Oversee delivery of BTP‑enabled workflow, analytics and business process extensions aligned to enterprise architecture standards.
- Provide end‑to‑end delivery oversight for SAP and non‑SAP integrations across the value chain.
- Lead integration delivery using SAP Cloud Platform Integration and Azure Integration Services, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity.
- Ensure consistent application of API‑based and event‑driven integration patterns between SAP S/4HANA, BTP, and external systems.
- Accountable for design, build, test and deployment of ERP enhancements.
- Partner with Business Process Owners and senior stakeholders to align delivery with business priorities.
- Oversee release planning, execution and operational readiness.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit and data requirements.
- Manage delivery partners and vendors, including service performance and escalations.
- Maintain oversight of ERP operational health, incidents and continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Proven senior delivery leadership experience delivering enterprise‑scale SAP S/4HANA solutions.
- Deep hands‑on delivery experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
- Strong experience delivering SAP BTP‑based extensions, including side‑by‑side extensibility.
- Working knowledge of ABAP Cloud (Steampunk) and its role in clean‑core S/4HANA extensibility.
- Proven experience delivering integrations using SAP CPI (Integration Suite).
- Experience delivering complex integrations using Azure Integration Services alongside SAP platforms.
- Experience delivering large technology programmes and managing complex dependencies.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience leading onshore and offshore delivery teams.
- Understanding of Agile and hybrid delivery models in complex organisations.
