You will work closely with senior leaders and clients to design and implement solutions that address complex tax challenges, improve efficiency, and unlock new opportunities. You will also play a key role in promoting technology adoption within the team, supporting training initiatives, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our service offerings.

 

If you have a strong background in technology project delivery, a keen interest in AI, and a desire to make a real impact in the tax industry, we encourage you to apply - prior tax or accounting experience is beneficial but not essential.

The Technology in M&A team at KPMG is a growing and dynamic team. We deal with all aspects of the technology function, from strategy, cloud, digital, technology spend, etc. We work with both acquirers and vendors on pre- and post-deal technology issues.

The KPMG Alternatives team provides high-quality and impactful tax advisory and compliance services to the Alternative Investment Fund sector. This includes private equity, hedge funds, credit funds and real estate funds.

Due to our ongoing growth, we have a number of job openings for exceptional candidates. This posting is for a role focussed on Real Estate tax and would be well suited to a driven and motivated candidate with experience in the Real Estate sector. We would also like to hear from candidates who have experience of working in a tax team within a real estate fund. • KPMG Law wishes to hire a Senior Manager  - with substantial  post qualified experience in the real estate sector ideally working for clients with repeat activity. 
• The KPMG Law UK real estate team started in December 2023 and is now 11 strong including 5 Partners with further growth plans during 2026 already acting on repeat investment, development and asset management mandates for private equity funds, sovereign wealth and listed property company clients.
• The successful candidates will have experience within corporate and/or transactional Real Estate and may or may not have a portable practice that they will bring with them to KPMG.
• The primary focus of the hires will be meaningful deal experience in this space (KPMG is not looking for real estate tax lawyers as part of these hires).
• Ideally the candidates will be known in the market with good contacts in the target client base.

What will you be doing?

• You will be able to draw on your strong Financial Due Diligence experience to work with a variety of clients or sector specific clients
• Using your analytical skills you will interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions for your clients
• You will have overall responsibility for cost management, reporting, monitoring of recovery rates against budget and invoicing
• You will be responsible for delivering large sections/full work streams from end-to-end and will add value to your clients by working together with other areas of the business to become a trusted adviser
• Producing robust financial analysis and supporting your team by reviewing their work
• You will be a key contact for the client and advisors on a day-to-day basis
