Join Deal Advisory Tax as a Manager and help corporate and financial investors understand, manage and optimise tax considerations across acquisitions, disposals, refinancings and other complex transactions. You will work on UK and cross-border deals ranging from £10 million to more than £10 billion, collaborating with clients, legal advisers and specialists across KPMG. Your contribution will combine technical tax advice, commercial analysis, project leadership and relationship management to support sound decisions throughout the investment cycle. The Strategy group’s teams work with C-level Executives to identify, structure and solve their most critical strategic issues across the economic and transaction cycles. As part of a fast-paced and dynamic group, our consultants offer strategic advice on financial, business and operating models to corporate, public sector and private equity clients.

Within the Strategy group team we have an established pricing strategy practice, serving number of sectors including retail, consumer goods, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, transport and industrial manufacturing sectors serving UK, European and international clients. We work with C-level executives to identify, structure and solve their most critical strategic issues related to deal strategy, and growth strategy.

You will work on the origination and execution of lead advisory mandates in the mid-market and specialise within the North to help achieve the client’s strategic objectives of buying or selling their company from initial strategic review to successful completion. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates to join a growing and ambitious team as a sector specialist.

• KPMG Law wishes to hire a Senior Manager  - with substantial  post qualified experience in the real estate sector ideally working for clients with repeat activity. 
• The KPMG Law UK real estate team started in December 2023 and is now 11 strong including 5 Partners with further growth plans during 2026 already acting on repeat investment, development and asset management mandates for private equity funds, sovereign wealth and listed property company clients.
• The successful candidates will have experience within corporate and/or transactional Real Estate and may or may not have a portable practice that they will bring with them to KPMG.
• The primary focus of the hires will be meaningful deal experience in this space (KPMG is not looking for real estate tax lawyers as part of these hires).
• Ideally the candidates will be known in the market with good contacts in the target client base.
