Within the Strategy group team we have an established pricing strategy practice, serving number of sectors including retail, consumer goods, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, transport and industrial manufacturing sectors serving UK, European and international clients. The Role

Deal Advisory Tax provides market leading services to both Corporate and Financial investors.  Whilst we have teams focused on clients in four key markets Corporates; Private Equity & Credit; Real Estate and Energy & Infrastructure, we are a national and connected team, working and learning with each other.

• Corporates:  We work alongside some of the most forward-thinking FTSE 100 and 250 businesses, as well as Corporates across the UK, supporting them with strategic acquisitions, carve outs, de-mergers, disposals, and joint ventures both in the UK and cross-border. Our corporates business is a multi-sector business, including Consumer, Life sciences, TMT, Industrials, ENR and Banking & Insurance. 
• Asset Management:  We work with Private Equity, Infrastructure, Renewable/ Energy transition, and Real Estate Funds, both large and mid-cap, as well as institutional investors such as Sovereign Wealth Funds and Pension Funds.  Our clients have UK, European and Global investment strategies and will often have teams across multiple asset classes which allows our people to experience different types of transactions.

The Deal Advisory Tax team provides advisory services across the whole deal spectrum including buy-side due diligence and structuring, sell-side vendor assists and vendo

You will work on the origination and execution of lead advisory mandates in the mid-market and specialise within the North to help achieve the client’s strategic objectives of buying or selling their company from initial strategic review to successful completion. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates to join a growing and ambitious team as a sector specialist.

• KPMG Law wishes to hire a Senior Manager  - with substantial  post qualified experience in the real estate sector ideally working for clients with repeat activity. 
• The KPMG Law UK real estate team started in December 2023 and is now 11 strong including 5 Partners with further growth plans during 2026 already acting on repeat investment, development and asset management mandates for private equity funds, sovereign wealth and listed property company clients.
• The successful candidates will have experience within corporate and/or transactional Real Estate and may or may not have a portable practice that they will bring with them to KPMG.
• The primary focus of the hires will be meaningful deal experience in this space (KPMG is not looking for real estate tax lawyers as part of these hires).
• Ideally the candidates will be known in the market with good contacts in the target client base.
